Or she could have just continued with her Roots documentary. She was directing it, had some of the best names from the industry in her documentary(Sonu,Vishal,Shubha,Gulzar..literally everyone)..still something just went horribly wrong!

I think it's impossible for someone who has been a fan of her work and both of her films (like me) to not feel bad for her,inspite of whether he/she thinks what she did was good or bad. I just hope she comes out of this situation and then stays away from it forever!

I was talking about what she can do in future though. Now she's beyond could have should haves.

The apathy and the ignorance on this thread is shameful. Someone stands up for another women and becomes an implied prostitute herself. Baffling. I'm so glad I'm not surrounded by idiots in my personal life.

Good for Shakshi, Shobha De and also Sandeep Soparkar (just read his views as well on his FB wall) for standing up for this girl. Not everybody has to feel sympathetic for this girl, fine. But what is the need to put people who stand up for her down.

Some drama queens never stop seeking attention by trying to sound "intellectual". Gee whiz. Wonder how pitiful a life they must be living.

Btw, I've reliable sources on a lot of Telly actors being in the "trade", and Sakshi is one of 'em. Also, I came across a shady forum the other day which was meant to discuss "obtaining celeb escorts". Of all the guys that shared info from their personal experiences, one guy sounded a word of caution about not wasting money on "cold" celebs, which included the name of ST.

Reminds me of this historical incident in the life of Jesus Christ. A prostitute is caught in the act and they bring her to him to stone her to death, according to their law. And Jesus famously asks " let the man without a sin, cast the first stone". And they all leave.

Don't get me wrong. IMO, prostitution is wrong and shwetha is definitely not a victim. But, we Indians can be so hypocritical. Prostitution is wrong and illegal. But, so is bribing. How many of us have bribed or taken a bribe to get things done. In India, you have to bribe your way out for every little thing ... To get ur passport, to buy a piece of land to even marry( its called dowry). Did we all also not indulge in illegal then?
In a cruel and unsympathetic system like India, ppl do Wat thy have to get things done. Not that it is right though.
