easily the MOVIE OF THE YEAR for me...

engaging.. gripping.. riveting.. entertaining as well.. might be a bit filmy at some places but i feel that much is allowed.. it's got its heart at the right place.. yep it did make me teary eyed a lot of times..

PC's performance is easily her career best.. much much better than fashion and barfi.. infact i would say this is the best performance by any actress in recent times.. intense emotional cute everything she got everything right.. Respect..

she definitely deserves another national award this time.. and i am sure she'll get it.. besides all other awards..

WATCH IT people.. especially the girls.. YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS ONE.. if you miss it then you got no right to say "BW only makes trash" in future.. Highly recommended..

and yeah..

a standing ovation to M.C. Mary Kom.. 👏

movie is not well made. i found too many flaws.

but i was moved by the story of mary kom. and it was refreshing to see a movie with no item numbers, forced bekaar songs/dances.

also a break from those southie remakes, etc. movie thodi hatke lagi.

the best thing of course, PC. i loved loved her in the boxing ring. its good they picked her to play this role. this is the first time i've seen a bollywood actress do a boxing champ role, and pc does fine. i wouldn't give her performance 10/10, but a solid 9/10. 😆she looked like a little girl at times, especially in the beginning of the movie. i applaud her, for letting the team work on her, no worries, show my real nose and lips...whether ugly or not...no fear.😆 salute to her.

and yeah..movie is very inspiring. all should give a watch.

I just finished watching the movie and I must say, I enjoyed it. I am happy to see such an off-beat movie for a change. I was tired of watching the Dabangs and Singhams. Priyanka was very good, we can see she has put in a huge amount of effort for this.

About the story of Mary Kom, what's shown in the movie is indeed touching, not sure how much of it has been dramatized, though.
