Yesterday i saw "Confession of a Shopaholic "..sweet movie , do watch that ..I loved "The Holiday "..the one which stars kate winslet and cameron diaz..Similar in the sense ..they are feel good coming of age films ...

Are you looking for a "Hollywood" film where the female lead goes on a self discovery path with no/little male lead help? And where female independence is celebrated over love but not in a traditional way? Then I would totally recommend Waitress. It's a feel good movie that borders on the dark humor genre. It's not Hollywood per se, just a cute little indie flick. One of my absolute favorites!
