Generally In india most of the the job interviews scheduled in ist working hrs...that means with 10.00 am to 1.00pm...i mean candidates need to report at the venue within that time ...and not only in Udaipur ...in many metro citis also shop opened after 10.00 am...it is really difficult for a candidate to buy a shirt of the same date and go to an interview venue...In my POV that is not at all an Illogical drama...may be DB is overreacting ...but the situation is absolutely common and normal one...

When you don't have money and are in search of a job you don't waste money on new shirts. You make do with what ever you have.
He doesn't have money and he also doesn't have time to go and buy a new one immediately.

He does not have money to buy a new shirt? Then how his decision for instant marriage with Gulli was right? Why Anandi and Shiv supported him? Very good message in this - marriage at first opportunity, job can wait, till then relatives are there to take care😆

Did he plan on getting married to her?
It was an impulsive decision and it happened for the right reason.
If he went around looking for girls without having any means to support himself then this question would have been valid.
Not every time things go according to plan.
It was obvious that he intended to stay on with DB in India and he went visiting her then ended up getting married. He would have gone on looking for a job whether he was married or not.
On one hand people call the marriage as regressive on the other hand expecting the husband to support his wife which is equally a regressive thought.
Families do support newly married couples esp when the marriage is unplanned like this.If the family thinks that the marriage happened for the right resons and feel that boy and girl are right for each other they do support them and help them stand on their feet.
This kind of marriages did happen in my family and family members helped them settle down .

@bold - now I know where this support to Hardik's marriage is coming from. Where I live (my family or my friends/neighbour's family) - no one will marry (for right reason or wrong reason) unless they are working and can support the family. That is why I think the marriage very wrong and even Shiv/Anandi/DS/Shakher's decision to support this marriage also wrong. The people I know will not support an impulsive decision from a person like Hardik - they will guide him to the correct way (as per the norms of society here). If the marriage is for right reasons - may be the girl and boy will get engaged - but marriage only after getting independent income (yes, here people accept that the girl can be a housewife, so insistence only on employment of boy). May be creatives also think that marriage for right reason can happen without caring for employment - that is why there was no objection from anyone (DB's objection was all for wrong reasons).

Just marrying a girl to save her honour is not enough to call it 'right'.
'Right' comes with other things like financial independence, character of the boy, girl's future, two people's consent and ability to collectively work on the marriage.

If Hardik does not have enough financial support, Gulli should support him. Why is she not thinking of working.

If Hardik never had a definite career plan then why didn't he wait till he had enough to support himself and his would be wife. What was the need to marry in same mandap and muhurat. He could have simply given his word to Gulli's GP or got engaged and asked Gulli to wait a few months before they could get married. What was so hard in that?

Also if Udaipur is not a place where he can get his type of work, he should try applying in bigger cities, secure a job and then shift. Till then he can stay with KB guys and Gulli in jaitser with her GP. Itna adjustment ho sakta hai, if they really feel they are a burden on KB guys. Instead of accepting a job of lower caliber and satisfying oneself with lower income, make simple adjustments and work a way out.

Also on what basis did AnSh really approve of the marriage, clearly knowing that Hardik is yet to set his foot. Is only saving Gulli's honour important? Should no one worry about her financial future too?

Honestly the whole shirt thing was very stupid. Total waste of time. And DB is another nut case.
