Our thinking process is influenced from what we see around and what we are taught is right. That is why I thought Gulli's marriage was done in a wrong way at a wrong time. But if I also belonged to a society where these people think that if the boy and girl are right for each other and the intention is also right then the marriage can happen without bothering for employment - then I also would not have found anything amiss in this marriage.
But looking at what they did show so far, it appears that their intention was to show Hardik in KB only. He had the audacity to marry without employment and must have thought that the relatives (whom he did not even knew a few days ago) would support him and he can live with them alongwith his wife. He never asked DB to take him to their own home at Kota. After all, DB came to KB because she could not live alone - now she has her grandson, then what is stopping her to going to her own home? And even Hardik will take employment only in Udaipur? I hope once he gets a job, he will rent a home for himself and his wife.

I have lived in society where a man must secure his job and financial status before getting married. In fact some parents even casually tell their boys ' acche se padh likhke acche settle hona, varna koi baap apni beti nahi dega tujhe' etc.
In fact with changing society even girls make sure they have a strong career so that she can also can also make an impact on a suitor.

Society emphasises on enough reference checking and trying to know each other before hand as much as possible. Therefore this type of impulsive marriage in a non-compulsive situation does not go well with me.

There was no compulsion for Hardik to marry Gulli there and then.

Hardik's decision looked more wrong because he came from Amerika, where people do not give so much importance to misplaced sense of honour etc. (like baraat returned without marriage), or even the necessity of immediate marriage. A person in his place may have shrugged off Gulli's crying or may have asked her to stop caring about conservative people like her would be husband's family, who cannot even judge right from wrong. Instead he was ready to marry her then and there😕 when he did not even know her well - just two days and love and marriage complete - and everybody was fine with it.

CV's should cut short gauri, ganga , jagadish scenes and include sanchi&vivek scenes. if they can spare hardick&gulli why not sanchi&vivek. It seems something missing in the show. this Gauri seems to be a big mental torture+problem for Ganga and her married life

Completely agree SPuja. The reason behind the marriage was correct, none disputes that. But why get married right "then and there"?
