It was a welcome relief to see Pragya actually respond to Tannu's taunts today in a calm manner while yet leveling a well aimed punch at Tannu's arrogance. It offered a peek into the mind of the imperturbable and placid Pragya. We understood what she meant by rishta nibhana - no, she does not hanker after a love filled, doting relationship with Abhishek, on the contrary she made it very clear to Tannu she cared two hoots as to how and who with Abhishek spent his time - she had better things to occupy her mind - her job, her family, his daadi, his niece and nephew, these were what consumed her, these were the relationships, the rishtas that she wanted to celebrate, to nibhana, not the faltu mockery of a marriage with the rockstar. How totally practical of the girl, why waste energy fretting over a cheating husband whose aim is to ruin her life, why not focus on the people that truly care for her instead, like her family and his daadi? Simple recipe for contentment.
Loved Pragya shaking her finger at Abhi today and her resigned look at his antics with the food, tomorrow will be even better when she makes him fall (wish she had not fallen alongside of him). And as for Abhi, what was that he was muttering? That hers is the only face that keeps running through his head? Reminded me of the pick up line, " are you tired? Cos you've been running through my mind all day" Yes, he kissed his daadi and Pragya's daadi equally affectionately and all of a sudden he seems to not want to get on the bad side of Pragya's relatives. Oh, and he wondered if he fed her if she would really fall in love with him. Wishful thinking on his part! Which way is the wind blowing? He even called her Pragya to Tannu and not chashmish. He is in for a bumpy ride and I hope it is a real rocky one at that with no immediate rainbow in sight. He deserves to be led a merry dance and Pragya without intending to but with her nonchalance and indifference to his contrived villainy is sure to drive him bonkers very soon.
Aside : Well done, CVs, you seem to be taking note, you gave Pragya back her spine, you considered we didn't like Pragya repeatedly being made to fall so now you have Abhi falling with Pragya. Would have been nice if he was the only one that fell that too with a painful thud but thank god for small mercies, at least he fell.
