Salman Khan Dont Support Singers Fight For Royalty

This was an interview of Rajeev Masand with Sonu Nigam where he asked

Rajeev Masand::Salman Khan said in an interview recently in response to singers demanding royalties that "Its the actors who's faces are used in these songs thats why these songs become popular what royalty what money are the singers asking for??

Sonu Nigam:: If that was the case then every song pictured on these actors would be a hit. why is that a certain songs are hit and certain songs are not hit there must be something in that song that worked lyrics, singer , composition something that worked and who can deny the fact that we love you too , we all are fans we love them they are elders to me and we respect them that way also since you are adding so much to a song you are getting 35 crores na and the singer that is singing is getting 35 thousand RS so dont come down to his level you are kings just think about a singer who has sung "Sari Ki Fall Main Tujhe Match Kiya Re" no buddy knows that singer he is very dear to me his name is Naqash Aziz so the singer is not known yet so he would not be getting shows also correct...these all are young people budding artists if they get this little thing of timely royalties and all they can sustain and their is no competition between actors and singers ..Actors are king in thier own field and singers are king in their own field too ..when people meet us they do something which they dont do to actors they touch over feet elders touch our feet we have our own respect too so there is no comparison

Really disappointed that Salman said that.

I think Jai Ho is a perfect example why music is such an important part of Bollywood movies. The music in that movie sucked (so did the film). Even if they were picturized on Salman, they were not hits. And you know what, music is one of the first mediums through which a film is promoted and gets publicity. Do you think films such as Aashiqui 2 or even Rockstar would have done as great as they did if the music albums were not as amazing? No!

Way to cheat the singers👍🏼

Maybe Salman's father also should get paid only meager amount of money for writing film stories. After all, it's the actors who present the film on the screen .. the writers should not be bothered. For that matter, even producers should not be allowed to make such huge amount of money from films .. ONLY actors should make hundreds of crores and remain such narcissistic assholes who think that the world revolves around them.

Salman has always been a douchebag .. it's only Reshma Shetty's PR skills and Being Human drama that has gotten him all the cover up to hide his mafia personality.

Such non-sense elitism can come out of an Indian celebrity's mouth only .. sick people .. no idea why they get paid so much. Why does Indian public even bothers to spend hundreds of rupees for watching such shitty films? .. lack of better entertainment options or lack of other ways to escape the hard reality of difficult lives in the developing country. There is no other reason that I can think of that such shitty films make so money, which in turn leads to these actors charging so much fees. At the end of the day, his real Being Human side is that he thinks that he can't even respect a singer's right for a proper compensation.

When I go to watch a Sonu Nigam concert...its for Sonu...not because his songs were picturized on Salman or SRK...😆

But were these people when Salman has been fighting for his freedom for last 14/15 years ? Why would Salman support them when they have never supported him. Its as simple as that 😉
