I'm not defending VD here, as i guess it might also be that he might also have lost motivation towards the end

But we can't forget that Raja is not Rk, Rk is the classy superstar, Raja is handsome too but he is a villager, he had attitude but he had the accent and the mannerism of a villager

So for me how the actor looks or acts depends on :

The story, his character and then his acting abilities but yes maybe during the last days he also lost his motivation (can we blame him?!!!, we were sitting through the show with so much difficulty!!!) but as you can see in the avis of Raja I posted in page 39 of the EDT, he had some good expressions, anger, mysterious looks etc. so it"s not like he forgot how to act and how to look good, back then the story was still not butchered the way it became after court case and during chawl tracks!

So VD is able to recreate the magic if he is given a good story, good dialogues and if the execution is good and of course if the character is classy then he will have to adorn classy looks (outfits, clean shaven look...)

How VD will act will depend on :
- Good story
- A good character (if the character is classy he will look classy, if not he will not!!)
- Good execution and dialogues (in the execution the actors looks and outfits are also included!)
- Motivation (motivation comes from the good story, fron being satisfied with the way his character shapes and from the response the actor gets be it from fans or TRPs, though I remember VD said he never cared about TRPs, he does his work the way he has to do it and never gets concerned with TRPs matters)

Maybe its also true that both DD and VD were overworked. Who knows?

i was not talking about his role or acting in MB 2, i was talking in general regarding the change in his looks, physique etc. certainly, makes me think, what is he doing to himself and his career...nyways, his life and his choice..

lets talk abt the motivation of the CV's Najat 😆 still trying to figure out the reason behind dishing out nonsense tracks in a row ..RR is also a failure but at least there is a story, script, logic , no matter how crap or repeated it is..MB mein woh bhi nahi raha..

Can't agree more Charu😆 I feel like crying whenever I go through old episodes of our show and I wonder how could they butcher a wonderful show like this, How could they treat it so mercilessly like the ultimate enemy, it was the best love story ever with modern background

I mean the focus was on Madhu and Rk, their turmoil, their fights, their personalities etc more than anyone else they were the real enemies to their own love, so it was interesting to see how they can overcome their past experiences, their insecurities, their betrayals, their pain, their ego, it was interesting and different than other shows where the bahu keeps solving the problems of her sasural and where sometimes many tracks focus on side characters and not leads, in MEIEJ even during heroine track, we were trying to understand Rk, was he insecure, jealous or possessive and didn't want to share his wife with public...I know it was spoiled with Nivarans and prophecies and paralysis. and then came misacarriage and Riya and as if this wasn"t enough we had KRK!!!

Still I loved MEIEJ1

MEIEJ 2 less said better it was utter nonesense!!!

Anyways look at Rk here, he was dashing, though many said he was insecure and doesn't trust her but that was intersting to see too

Rk: "Honeymoon pe jaare hai, toh kaproke kya zarrorat hai?"
Madhu : "Rk stop it!!"☺️
Rk : "Arre! seedi se baat hai, meri kehne ka matlab tha ki hum honeymoon par jayenge, toh shopping bhi karenge aur tumhari liye nayi nayi kapre lenge!"

Rk : "hoooh!!! Tumne kya shoocha!!"
Madhu (embarassed) : "ab..."
Rk (singing and teasing Madhu ): "Tumhara badtameez dil badtameez dil, maane na!!!"

Thank you all for bringing alive all the memories, so here is a request, RK-Madhu were know for their hugs, can we have the next round of hugs, i know there were probably too mnay, but at least teh most memorable ones? Like the tight wala hug of drunken night, the one she gives just befor ethe 7 phera wedding, when she realizes that she actually loves RK and wants to get married to him...😳

Did I ever say he was not good as R.K?R.K was 2 years ago and I find this Vivian's attitude different. Somewhat losing focus and complacent. None of the TV actors of his calibre are so careless in fitness and grooming. My general POV . I would be pleased if I am wrong.Anyways it is his life and his career.
