Anu’s pregnancy- the fakest thing ever

You know, out of curiosity, I was looking at the archives to see when this show started, and the exact date I found was November 21, 2005. Now since Anu was inseminated in the first episode, it means that from the first episode till now, it has been 43 weeks, OR 172 days, OR 5 months and 22 days since Anu has been pregnant. And yes, I eliminated all the Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I'm not a pregnancy expert, but just out of estimation, I am almost positive that her stomach should have begun growing by now. However, that's not even where this pregnancy BEGINS to get fake. Let me explain.

Since the first day of Anu's pregnancy, Anu has:

- Been kicked out of college and lost both her scholarship and admission to graduate school.
- Faced contempt from her family and society for pregnancy out of wedlock, which led to her running away from home.
- Been forced to prove to her college that she is still righteous, and been forced to get a job without a degree.
- Fallen in love with a married man, and faced rejection from him.
- Attempted to commit suicide because of all the falling possibilities of happiness (such as attaining her love).
- Faced contempt, once again, from both her family and society for falling in love with a married man.
- Been forced to re-marry because of the fact that she is supposedly "unpure" in the village.
- Fainted at the mandap of her marriage, and spent weeks in the hospital with grave danger of death for either her or her child.
- Ran away from the hospital to save her child, and ended up being stalked by a killer who wants to murder her.
- Spent like two or more months at a stranger/doctor's house under treatment.

NOW, after ALL of that, Anu has finally gained some happiness by her marriage to Nikhil, supposedly. This is what her fate had in store for her. And THIS is why Anu's pregnancy is the fakest thing ever shown on television- any other woman who faced so much stress would have lost her baby by now.. ANYONE.

On top of that, my question to you guys is, was this type of love really worth it?

It's amazing how fake this show can get.

ABsolutely!!!!!

There was a time when I thought that the creatives had forgotten that she was pregnant, TOO MANY other things were happening!!!Only Tulika had remembered, she gave continuos efforts to destroy the baby!

It'll be another 3 years for Anu to have her belly growing, let alone delivering the baby!

And she keeps tripping and falling and tripping and falling(though Nikhil is always to the rescue), still she hasn't miscarried!

It'll be a BIG surprise if Anu's baby turns out to be normal, healthy,& strong, after all this tripping, falling and stress! 😕

Look at Kasamh se, everything is so quick, mariage, consummation, getting pregnant, and delivering the baby! 😉

If they are showing Ganpati pooja and other festival at right time, why they cannot show the pregnancy at the right time period?

😆 I was eating a donut while reading this and I nearly choked when I saw how long its been...I thought it was long but I didn't know how long exactly, now I'm pretty sure that a pregnancy lasts up to what 36 weeks, but she's been pregnant for 43 weeks??She's way past due!!!I was laughing so hard afterwards, instead of choking my donut slipped out of my hand and fell 😆 😆 😆

Haha that's funny.. but don't worry, she's not overdue. She's only 5 months pregnant. It's 43 weeks considering each week has only 4 days because ELAS is shown 4 times a week, not 7 times. 😃

However, it's still fake because she's halfway there, and her stomach hasn't even started growing yet! 😆😆

That is a funny recap of everything that has happened so far! Very nice! 😆
I just wanted to add that she also celebrated all the festivals like us normal folks here. 😆 😆
I should have asked her for advice on how to keep the body fit during pregnancy! 😉 Too bad, i had delivered by then! 😆 😆 😆
