Of late, I have seen many threads regarding who is who type of question. So I volunteer to make a specific thread to give a complete list of the characters who are playing major part in the story. I am not sure if it requires the permission of the moderators so delete the post if wanted.
Raima: Best friend of Sakshi, recently got divorced from her husband. She also shares an illicit relationship with Rajnath, sakshi's husband,
Rajnath Goenka: The head of rhe Goenka dynasty. Along with his wife Sakshi and son Shaurya plays the antagonists in the series.
Sakshi Goenka: Wife of Rajnath and mother to Shaurya, she can go to any extent to save her reputation and her only son. She is a ruthless woman.
Shaurya Goenka: The main antagonist, he along with his best friends rape a girl called Payal and the Goenkas leave no stone unturned to prove that the rape case is fake. Shaurya therefore is set free by the court as all the evidence against were either destroyed or bought by his parents.
Payal Mitra: The victim of the story. She is forced to take her case back and later sent to a mental hospital where influential Goenkas make her lose her mental self following wrong medication.
Nitya Mitra/ Durga Thakur: Durga is the main protagonist of the story and also the elder sister to the victim Payal. The both sisters are daughters of a car driver who was earlier employed with the powerful Goenkas. While they lose the case, her parents commit suicide. Nitya losing everything meets with a horrible accident but is saved by a doctor. Her face is severely damaged therefore a plastic surgery is done. With a new face, Durga is born who wants to avenge the Goenkas.
Dayal Thakur: The doctor who saved Durga.After saving Durga, Dayal not only give the girl a new face but a new identity. He brings her back to kolkata as his only daughter Durga. As she wants to avenge the Goenkas, she along with Dayal brings in the famous Cancer project where Rajnath Goenka is involved.
Divya Bagchi: A true friend to Payal and an important eye witness of the rape case. She saw everything and wanted to tell the truth to the whole world. She later got missing following an attack on her and her father
Madhusudan Bagchi: Father of Divya, he was ruthlessly beaten following loss of eyesight. His daughter was still missing. Meanwhile, Durga found him and cunningly made Shaurya pay for all the expenses for the eye operation. He later found his daughter while Sakshi planned to burn him and his daughter. However. after being saved by Durga, heand his daughter is sent overseas.
Dev Goenka: Cousin of Shaurya, kind hearted young man. He although was the best friend to Nitya could not help her as he was in the US when Payal was raped and Mitras were destroyed. He now tries to find out the whole truth.
Suchitra Goenka: Dev's mother.she was also not around when the case was going on. She too cannot believe Payal can do a such thing.Kind hearted woman just like her son. Her husband is dead.
Naveen Mathur: A close associate to the Goenkas. He did everything possible to save the GOenkas. Later sent to jail as Durga made the Goenkas believe that Mathur is a traitor.
Aakash: He is appointed by Sakshi to eye upon Durga. He gives all valuable information to her but later during Bagchi and Divya kidnap episode we come to know that he was actually working for Durga. He skillfully established that Bagchi and his daughter are dead while he sends the duo to the overseas using his contacts.

Kangana Goenka She made her appearance in the initial episodes.As of now, she is just a minor character.
Shaurya's friends: Karan , Rishi and Tarun. Along with Shaurya, they are accused of the Payal rape case
Police commissioner Sahani: He deliberately cheated Nitya and Payal. He exchanged the DNA reports that certified Shaurya is a rapist. Durga later avenged him when his daughter fell in love with Shaurya. Goenka's quickly got him transferred.
Avantika: Daughter of Police commissioner Sahani who fell in love with Shaurya. Later, Shaurya rejected her and she left the city when her father got transferred.
RObindro Ganguly: Vice chancellor of University. He would testify agaiinst Shaurya in court only if Payal gives him sexual favours. When refused, he maligned the character of Payal in the court. In the current episode, we find him blackmailing Nandiini, his daughter's best friend for sexual favours. He is also shown as abusive husband and a abusive father. He wanted to become the Educaiton minister with the help of hte GOenkas. He is brought to justice by Durga by exposing his real face to the world
Sangeeta and Sagarika: Sangeeta is the wife of Robindro Ganguly and sagarika is their only daughter.
Nandini: Finding no choice, he gives into sexual relationship with Ganguly. Ganguly issues a fake degree to her and also gives her a job as a researches. he later sacks her when his truth is revealed to his daughter.

Neil Bhattacharjee: Fiancee of Durga Thakur although fake. He is just a part of a bigger plan.
Pandit ji: He was a witness to the rape case who lied in the court to protect Shaurya. Durga sent him to jail.
