If not for the time jump, this chapter would simply have been a repetition of the last only from Rishabh's side instead of Madhu's. Now we see that their ties are just as strong even as time has allowed for a fresher perspective.

This chapter had to be the most heart breaking one so far. For me at least.

When Rishab was talking about how hard it was to be away from Madhu, that suicide was easier, I was so mad. If that was the case then why not swallow your pride and go to her??? Find a way to make it work.

I just...if this was really life and a person said they'd rather die than live with so and so person, I would be sitting on the side judging that person. but in this case, Rishabh's life seems an extension of Madhu's. since their universe (as shown to the reader) consists of little more than each other, it makes sense that they feel the loss more than the average joe. so yes, I agree with you. he should suck up his damn pride.

Then they finally come face to face. I really thought this was it. That Madhu and Rishab would get back together.

I could not believe it when Rishab turned her down. That HURT!!!!

Indeed it did. But the elephant in the room is fat as ever and we can't expect them to ignore it anymore.

The romantic side of me wants them back together!

The realistic side of me realizes that the issue of children is still there and also a lot of pain and bitterness.

Fertility and the lack of it is such a taboo topic worldwide. It hurts everyone involved and for once, I don't want an ending that is against the wife/husband's wishes. I want them both to feel engaged, involved, and satisfied with the process.

There was so much love in their relationship but not enough for them to fight for it.
