Raghav himself says to her that now that he has her verbal commitment about their relationship, he can share the dark and disturbing secrets of his past with her. He is at his most vulnerable point here emotionally. It is a HUGE deal for him to break that giant wall he has constructed between himself and the world. He never thought he would be doing that, that's why he had built it, right? But now he feels safe to let down his guard in front of her. Because now she is his own. And she proves it to him right then when he talks about his mom, his most raw wound. She instinctively holds his hands. And if you see carefully, she doesn't just hold his hands, she caresses them, soothes them, keeps changing the way she holds them in her own. All this conveying how restless his pain is making her an yet all she wants to do is calm him. She is no longer his lover here. She becomes his mother. The hug completes the emotion that in the hour of need she will become what he needs most. The emotion I feel the most here is that we are in this together from now on. There is no mine or yours when it comes to joy or sorrow. It's "ours" and we will face it together.

Coming to your topic, it's so marvelous! Really nice way to put it and nice observation. Whenver Raghav holds her hands, it's like he's so grateful and lucky to have finally found her. He looks at her with so much love. And everytime Kalpi holds his hand, it's to give him the warmth, comfort, and care that he's been missing his whole life. I love how wonderfully they fit in together. One has so much love to give and the other has so much care to show! =)

Yes and this is such a refreshing change to all the confusion this whole engagement thing is creating. I think even the CVs would not have thought so much about all the hand holds... LOL

These two characters are just so real and portray human emotions so well! And the way these two actors enact these characters leaves me spell bound! I am one of those people, who likes to decipher every little nuance of human actions, so end up with these observations! So glad to have stumbled on this soap!
