I always wondered about these two names Raman and Ishita.
Well being a south indian(not tamilian though) for me atleast the name Ishita seems uncommon and infact raman sounds very legit south indian name.
Lol i know i am thinking about weired stuff😆😆😆
But anyone who thinks the same?

they used the same names in the book, maybe that is why the names don't fit culture they have come from.

Ishita is a sanskrit word. Tamil does have some sanskrit words that is used fairly frequntly. Ishita means - superior or someone who is very skilled or an expert generally a brilliant person. Isn't our Ishu all that 😊.

Raman is the HIndu god Rama's name so i guess that is also very common all over the country!

Ishra it is that we love. Keep rocking guys!👏👏👏

Raman is definitely an Indian Punjabi name. I am not Indian but I know a few Punjabi people, both males and females who are named Raman.

I'm Punjabi and I know a few Ramans personally- it's a VERY common name.

Ishita, I'm not so sure about- but it seems like an apt Tamilian name.
