Is trust so easy for Bhallas for their Daughter in law?

Please don't throw chappals at me. Atleast before reading.

I don't support what Parmeet has done to Ishita and the Bhallas not trusting her. Any woman who comes with a complaint of abuse, irrespective of whether it's true or not or a misunderstanding, should be given safety and protection.

If we look from Bhallas side, their experiences with Shagun have coloured their views about daughter in law. Remember she had been in the family for more or less five years, before showing her true colours. In between we don't know how many tantrums and incidents she would have thrown to get attention on herself. So naturally they will compare Shagun and Ishita in the same light. So they will always mistrust her. It's not because she is a madrasi, but because of Shagun. Even Raman is slowly coming out of the scar Shagun has left on him, meaning he is taking baby steps in case of 'trust'.

And Parmeet has been their son in law for years and Simmi has never complained about him or his character. So they will genuinely believe the incident was a misunderstanding which Ishita is blowing up. So as not to cause problems in relationships they are trying to underplay it.

I believe even Raman will have a hard time to take an action when he will get to know about the incident not because he doesn't trust Ishita but because many times he has been played by Shagun. Remember how she flirted openly with Ashok infront of Raman.

But this will all affect Ishita because she can lose her sense of security with Bhalllas, as they were not ready to trust her on such a huge incident where she placed trust on them and revealed it to them than calling her own family and make a huge hungama.

We will wait and see how CVs are going to handle it.

Thank you all for reading patiently.

PS (Long):Additional Thought. If you notice the reactions are to an extent situational. Whatever issue Ishita raised, Parmeet was able to give a clear answer.
There was more or less a similar situation before. When Mihir and Mihika's mms clipping was circulated, everyone believed the situational proof and accused Mihir even though he said he was innocent. Even Mihika who had been in love with him was not ready to believe him. Remember how the entire Iyer family treated Mihir. They were not ready to hear him out even.

Whether its man or woman, they should be heard before being condoned. And sometimes its hard to see beyond what is seen or heard, the truth can be hidden and it takes work to bring it in front. Also, even Ishita had supported Parmeet during his earlier case without further investigating the truth. Even Ishita unknowingly was on the wrong side in that case. I believe even Raman will require some time before seeing the truth than what is infront of him. So give them time.

But this also will affect Ishita's trust on Raman and the Bhalla family. As like Ishita said a woman always have a sense to know when a man touches her in a different light. Bala afterall have hugged her many a times and she knows that his each touch is for his little sister that he sees in Ishita. And when she seeks protection from her own family and husband and they are not only giving it but refuses to believe her is going to put a big trust issue with her.

Yup true they knew param from so many years and he was always sweet person where otherside they don't have good relation with ishita in past. Even ishita blast on raman during his interview so toshiji Will be param side. Param is Simmi hubby who was always presented himself loving and caring husband so how will she doubt on him. I am not saying that they are right but as per their experience they are right.
It took time to ishita to understand param real character specially she gone through same otherwise he was good person as per him.

I am just want to see their reaction after param real face will come out

Well Shagun & Ishita are different people. And if they place Shagun & Ishita in the same platform, then they are wrong in the first place. What irks me is that the Bhallas didn't even listen to Ishita & blindly believed Parmeet. They didn't even try to analyse that how will Ishita benefit by defaming Parmeet. Its Ishita only how helped Parmeet & Simmi during their crisis. And I guess the Bhallas do read newspapers & watch t.v. And they very well know that these things are not uncommon. Plus Parmeet has been earlier accused of sexual harassment which he said was a ploy to take money from him. The second time accusation should make the Bhallas think that there is something really wrong with Parmeet. But no, they are so biased that they blamed Ishita instead of the pervert.
Bottom line is the Bhallas still does not trust Ishita inspite of all the things done by her which is Wrong!
They do not know how to add 2+2 together, but jump to conclusions which is wrong!
The Bhallas being women cannot recognise the torment of another woman which is also wrong.
They are wrong in every aspect.

I agree, looking from bahallas point of view, it make sense, especially considering param is their son in law and simmi's husband, love of her life, and they don't know he is a awful person, his always been the best son in law and husband and the accusation would be hard for them to believe Especially simmi, I mean would Ishu believe someone if they accused Raman like that hypothetically speaking when they are in love. No she wouldn't, would any person believe someone who is new to the family if they accused someone in their family. Right now it's pretty much he said she said and param is the beloved one. And it's only because no one knows his true colours, we do and that's why we are upset and don't understand why they are not trusting Ishu but they don't so why would they. And the fact toshi and simmi and Ishu have always had trouble beginnings and the fact that toshi and simmi are so hot headed and loud doesn't help butt hats who they are. I Don't condone their behaviour but it's expected even if they are women

True even though they were crass n insensitive while dealing with Ishita on such an issue, even I can c it from their perspective. They are also too scared to even consider the possibility of Param being wrong, so they choose to bully Ishita into silence reminding her of being the family n bahu status n all.Sad but possible in real.

I agree. I've always thought that Shagun's betrayal would've not just affected Raman, but also his family.

We've seen before how in one incident Shagun blamed Toshi for something and Raman believed Shagun over Toshi and yelled at his mom and Toshi ji took it silently. The current Toshi would never let Ishita blame her for anything. Her behaviour towards her DIL has changed.

And yeah, I feel bad for Ishita because she's going through such a difficult situation. On one hand, she's being harassed daily by someone she originally helped out and respected. On the other hand, she won't get the support she needs from the family because the family has their own baggage that will not let them believe and support her. Such a tough situation to be in.

I'm so curious as to how the CVs will handle this. Obviously now that Ishita raised the alarm, Parmeet's truth will come out. But what about Simmi? Will she and the baby stay with Parmeet? Divorce him? Go with Ashok like her husband? Very confusing and interesting!

Ive said enough on this matter on other threads, so not really bothering to repeat... but i do agree with you :]]
I like that people in this forum do put sense into stuff and not conclude just like that!

Ishita has a big heart to trust the Bhalla's to a huge extent and her love for the members might soften her and fill up the patches of insecurity it created because of this Pervmeet.
And let's hope that the CV's are sensible enough to deal with this sensitive issue with maturity.😊
