As for the topic, I don't think Arjun meant it in the way people are taking it. He didn't mean he was embarrassed or disgusted either, I think he meant it was pathetic that he was only linked to Ranveer and not any female co-star. Everyone knows that the Ranveer linking was just jokes and fun, not really link up rumors. That's what he was talking about, that he never had any real link ups. My take on it.

You think K Jo hasn't had criticism? There have been a few write ups here and there regarding how he portrays homosexuality in his films and shows. What's the gay community going to do? K Jo is a big media voice and has power, and the gay activists have other more important issues to be fighting for (this doesn't mean K Jo issue is not important). Why doesn't he apply the same logic now? It's not like people were seriously linking him with Ranveer. That was a joke too. Why did he react so strongly? "Pathetic" is too strong a word to use. How is it pathetic? He had no qualms joking about it just a few weeks ago. Now that the movie is done, it's become pathetic now?

"Pathetic" is the word he should've used to describe his father and Sridevi's relationship. But Nah, he thinks it's the same sex ones that are pathetic.

Look at Ranveer, he was involved in this too. Did he ever give out such regressive statements? He openly kisses his own male staff members despite those so-called bromance rumours.
