Astha Declares Her Love for Shlok
In the Holi party, Sojal decides to have fun and drinks bhang and also gives it to all the women. Except for Aditi and Jyoti, everyone gets drunk. Shlok also gets drunk when Vinayak persuades him to drink bhang mixed thandai. Anjali loses her inhibitions and dances in merriment with her Astha and Sojal, infuriating Niranjan who feels humiliated at this show of his "perfect" family. He drags Anjali inside to scold her for getting drunk. Meanwhile, Astha wears a white dress similar to the one Swati used to wear on Holi and approaches Shlok. Shlok is shaken and is furious at Astha for hurting his feelings. Astha denies his charge and tells him that she was doing all this because she loved him. Shlok is further shocked when Astha colors Shlok with pink and yellow gulaal signifying her love, trust and wishes for happiness for him.
Aditi's Evil Plans
It is revealed during the Holi party that Aditi wants to separate Astha and Shlok. She mixes acid in the gulaal that Shlok was going to throw at Astha. However, Astha is saved when a dancer by mistake touches the color and his hands are burnt. Shlok realizes that somebody is making an attempt on Astha's life. Aditi then again tries to throw intoxicated Astha down the stair who is saved by Anjali.
Meanwhile, Niranjan asks Shlok to go to Goa for some business trip and take Astha with him. Aditi asks Niranjan for a trip as her birthday gift. Niranjan then orders Shlok to also Aditi with them to Goa. On the way to Goa, Aditi takes off the hand brake after she sends Shlok away to get tea for her. Shlok saves Astha from the moving car, but their car is damaged in the process. Eventually they manage to reach a resort where Shlok is able to get only one room honeymoon cottage.
At Aditi's persuasion, Astha and Shlok go to a night party in the nearby jungle where party goers are drinking and doing drugs. There is a police raid and Astha is separated from Shlok. While she is hiding from the police, she is shocked and angered to hear Aditi claiming herself as Shlok's wife. Aditi also makes one more attempt to kill Astha, but halts her plans when she spots Shlok searching for Astha. Eventually Shlok brings back Astha to the cottage, but both are shocked to see Aditi sleeping on their bed. While sleeping in the open with Shlok, Astha again reiterates her love for Shlok and expresses her sadness at leaving him in few days after the divorce hearing.
The next day, Shlok takes Astha and Aditi to riding grounds at Aditi's persuasion, where Aditi lies to the handler that Astha was a trained rider and should be given an unmanageable horse. Astha's horse bolts to the jungle when she attempts to ride him. Shlok follows her to jungle and saves her, but both become unconscious after their fall from the horses.
Jyoti's Escape & Sid the New Hero
Jyoti makes several attempts to contact Astha to tell her the truth about her being pregnant with the daughter and also about Abhay/Sulbha's torture. When she is unsuccessful in doing so, she writes a letter to Astha telling her everything. Unfortunately, Abhay finds the letter and decides to send Jyoti to Kolhapur for a forced abortion. While travelling with Sulbha to Kolhapur, Jyoti spots Astha and Shlok going to Goa in their car, but is unable to contact them. She finally finds an opportunity to escape. While on the run, she breaks and leaves behind her green bangles and mangalsutra - the symbols of her bondage to Abhay. She also encounters some goons but is saved by a free-lance journalist Siddharth who gives her refuge in his house. Jyoti initially is scared to stay with him, but slowly realizes that he is a kind person who voluntarily teaches the neighborhood kids free of charge. She wants to contact Astha for help, but is scared to step outside Siddarth's house in case Abhay spots her and drags her back to his home.
Abhay and Sulbha are meanwhile panicking at the thought of Jyoti contacting Shlok and Agnihotris punishing them for the way they had tortured Jyoti. They also become broke because they cannot withdraw any more money from Jyoti's account without her signature. When the news about Shlok's and Astha's accident is revealed in the media, Abhay goes to Agnihotri mansion to find out if Jyoti was staying there. He is relieved when he realizes that Anjali did not know that Jyoti was missing, because this gives him time to search for Jyoti without fearing Shlok's wrath.
Varad and Sojal - Relationship on Rocks
Meanwhile, Niranjan becomes obsessed with getting an heir when Abhay tells him that Jyoti is pregnant with a baby boy. He orders Anjali to convince Varad and Sojal to have another baby. Varad refuses to have another child, but Sojal is ecstatic at the idea because she feels that giving a first heir to the family would elevate her status in Agnihotri household. Varad and Sojal have an argument about their different views on having a second child. Sojal is also shocked to find a woman's hair clip in Varad's luggage when he comes home from Holi. At her questioning, Varad tells her that the clip might be of some coworker. He also gets a mysterious phone call from somebody whom he instructs to never call him at home

Missing Shlok & Astha - Niranjan's unraveling and Kalindi's fear
When Shlok and Astha are not found even after a day, Niranjan starts unraveling at the thought of losing Shlok, whereas Anjali though grief stricken remains strong to offer support to him. Meanwhile, Shlok regains conscious in the jungle and helps himself and Astha by managing to find a way out of deep jungle. There he finds a worried Varad working with police to find his whereabouts. Niranjan is finally delirious with happiness when he sees Shlok safely coming back home. Aditi is frustrated at the failure of yet another plan to kill Astha.
Kalindi and Avdhoot are also frantic with worry for Astha. Kalindi comes to Agnihotri house to take back Astha because she decides that Astha is not safe with Shlok as staying with him would both physically and emotionally hurt Astha. Astha refuses to go with her after telling her that only two more days were remaining till the divorce hearing, and that she would return back to Kalindi's house after her divorce comes through. Kalindi is not pacified and warns Astha that if Astha remains adamant about staying with Shlok, then she (Kalindi) would not survive. Astha is left torn between wanting to stay back with Shlok and fulfilling Kalindi's wish to stay away from Shlok.
