Astha finds Shlok's diary while he is sick and starts to read it. She realizes that Shlok used to be a different personality in his past - vivacious, outgoing, caring and head over heels in love with Swati. He used to play football and had learnt to play guitar because Swati loved music. The music contained in the diary was the one he had jointly composed with Swati. Swati's betrayal of leaving him had changed him to a dark, brooding and detached personality. She vows to find out the truth about Swati's mystery and bring back the old Shlok. So she decides to adopt a new strategy where she stops reacting to Shlok's provocations, leaving him puzzled.
Meanwhile, Kalindi becomes insecure when she realizes that Astha's feelings for Shlok have started changing once more. In order to remove her from Shlok's "clutches", she decides to fix her second marriage with a guy named "Karan" from London. Ajju and Astha disapprove her plan and Avdhoot forbids her to bother Astha about this; this creates distances between Avdhoot and Kalindi.
Astha and Anjali - An Evolution in Relationship?
Astha comes to Anjali's rescue when she takes the blame for burning Swati's mementos though it was Anjali who had burnt them so that Astha does not learn the truth about Swati. Shlok is furious at Astha and warns him never to meddle in his past. Anjali also keeps a fast for Maha Shivratri despite being extremely sick. Astha tries to persuade Anjali to eat, but Anjali remains adamant that she would not eat until Niranjan eats first. Since Niranjan and Shlok are busy in office work, Astha in desperation lies to Anjali about Niranjan allowing her to eat. Anjali breaks the fast before the Niranjan, shocking Niranjan who had just come home. Niranjan punishes her by burning her hand in the privacy of their room. Astha notices Anjali's bruises the next day, but remains clueless that it was Niranjan who had physically abused Anjali. Regardless, Astha is becoming quite protective of Anjali, Kavya and Shlok, and continues to care for them.
Jyoti's Struggles to Survive
In parallel to Anjali's situation, Jyoti too continues to suffer torture and abuse at Abhay and Sulbha's hands. Abhay locks her in the storeroom, when she accidently burns his hand though the accident was caused by Abhay's own actions. He refuses to give water or food to Jyoti that causes Jyoti to faint. Meanwhile, Anjali asks Shlok and Astha to take gifts to Jyoti because it is Maha Shivratri. They reach Jyoti's place, shocking Abhay as he was not expecting them. Abhay lies to them that Jyoti had gone to the market. Astha is suspicious of Abhay, but leaves with Shlok. Jyoti tries to call Astha from the storeroom window, but is unable to do so. Jyoti is disheartened especially as she suspects that she might be pregnant. She finds money hidden in an envelope in the saree bag gifted by Astha. She uses the money to buy the pregnancy kit and visit the doctor, and confirms her pregnancy. She is ecstatic but hides it from Abhay and Sulbha as she knows that they would make her abort her child if it is revealed to be girl. She pleads constantly with Anjali to help her escape her abusive situation, but is rebuffed by Anjali who feels anguish about her daughter's situation in private. Jyoti is now pinning her hopes on Astha, but will Astha find out the truth in time?
Aditi - Arrival of a Mystery Guest & Links to Astha and Shlok?
Niranjan invites his close friend and his daughter Aditi to visit them. Aditi stays back even after her father leaves, as she becomes sick. Aditi is shown having a fascination for Shlok and spies on him and Astha. She also seems to be imitating Anjali's ways - not eating before men, cooking everyone's favorite dishes and generally trying to follow Agnihotri ways. However, she is disappointed when Shlok does not seem impressed with her. Aditi probes Astha about her relationship with Shlok, but Astha remains tight lipped about it, and paints a rosy picture of her and Shlok's relationship. Aditi is also seen interested in Astha's relationship with her mother and tells Astha that she lost her mother when she was very young.
Later on, she persuades Astha to rearrange Shlok's disorganized wardrobe. Astha does so reluctantly fearing Shlok's reaction at her touching his things. Shlok is not angry at Astha for touching his closet, but gets extremely disturbed when he finds out broken pieces of green bangles that resemble the bangles Aditi had given Astha. This combined with blank calls of a sobbing girl reminds Shlok of Swati and he ends up losing control. In the end, he is shown sitting on a terrace recalling the betrayal he felt at Swati's hands. He talks about being disillusioned in love and losing all trust in girls. He also talks about Swati bringing darkness in his life that nobody can remove. Meanwhile, Aditi tries to light up the diya on Tulsi plant, but is stopped by Anjali who sternly tells her that it was only Astha or Sojal's right as a daughter in law to do so. She tells Astha to light up the diya, thus symbolically giving the sole right to Astha to bring light in Shlok's dark life.
The ball scene
A funny and cute scene
Shlok is looking how far he can go too get Aashta angry 😆
Aashta says too herself I am not fighting anymore with you
He is playing in his room with a ball she walks in but says nothing
He is wondering why she doesn't get angry and start hitting the ball harder😆
It not working so he start plan B first hitting her stuff then her parents pictures
Still she is not angry he hits her but 😳, she walks too him and says you have too practice more😎
He doesn't understand why she is not getting angry ..is she sick?🤣
Gone were two weeks some what dry in ashlok romance .We poor ashlokians are contemned to find drizzles in the desert and drool over those scenes like a hungry puppy woggles at a piece of bone .
So guess how difficult it is to find cheesy scene among them. It reminds me of magician taking out objects from nothingness😆 😆
So I chose the mirchi wala scene to be the cheesiest scene of the week.
Astha and Shlok throwing water at each other looked so childish and as many of you said in your posts, those scenes made us think "these two are too young for a marriage".
Jaya and her greed
Shlok Astha tu mein tu mein
However much Shlok tries to instigate Astha to fight and take him to task she just sweetly responds even after he scolded and shouted at her for making the bedroom storeroom for making lemon pickle there he asks her to live in store room but she says court ordered her to stay with him in bedroom 😆 and thanking him for saving the pickle jar for falling down leaving him puzzled and thinking to himself about her 😲😆
Ishq ney hum ko nikamma ker diya
Varna hum b aadami thay kaam key
Above lines holds true for our Aastha. For all those who have been missing the smart Aastha, who knew how to get her way, who was master of ghandhigiri, the good news is, our clever, witty Aastha's back and she has vowed to heal her Shlok's past wounds which are haunting him day and night. Thank God, she is no longer pining after her broken dreams and has truly risen as a much sensible person. Even our Shatir Dimag Shlok is confused about Aastha's changed behavior...so keep on wondering Mr. Akdu, till Aastha brings you out of the pit of your past.
First of all I would like to tell you all that this post is meant for constructive criticism. The points cited here are just my opinions /suggestions and are not from a negative point of view.
The first thing to note is that the whole plot is getting complicated each day. The whole plot seems scattered and still if we look back; it is hard to connect what's happening now with what happened in the past !
According to the latest track, Shlok is stuck with Swati's memories .If that's the case, then we need some justification for the intimate scenes/romantic scenes which were always initiated by Shlok. And why Swati's picture didn't come to him during those times?
It is almost clear that there is no "love" for Astha from Shlok's part until now. So I suggest the divorce to very much happen, followed by a powerful redemption track and a fresh love track which is based on true feelings. If cvs tried to cook up love and redemption in this 6 month period, it will surely turn to be unrealistic and unacceptable for the viewers.
Next area is the abuse against Jyoti . If her plight continues unabated and ends up in a suicide then it will be a big scratch to the powerful message the show is trying to convey-'Women Empowerment'.
Moreover, I think it is high time to give some hints on Anjali-Niranjan's past and whats making Anjali keep mum despite the wild treatment she is getting from her husband?
Though the Swati track was much needed - the stress only on Swati -Aditi and Shlok doesn't look so pleasing ...Do you feel so or is it just my opinion?...
Lets wait and see how cvs will connect dots and convey the upcoming story convincingly.

Song: Kannin Maniye [ with Eng Subtitles]
Movie: Manthil Uruthi VendumIf you did not feel Jyoti's pain during the episodes, you will surely feel your eyes getting wet and your heart touched while watching this VM. The lyrics are apt in questioning society, why parents sacrifice daughters in the name of customs, is the brother's job just to provide dowry. Who is there to reprimand the abusers about her sufferings? The melancholic voice will pierce your heart and the editing is just brilliant, it's a masterpiece by abi_niki. In the end, there is a positive message for all women to rise against this crime, which instantly raises your morale and makes you feel light.
