My point is my title, precisely. For me personally D3 has been deteriorating for a while now for various reasons, but this is like half an inch from rock bottom. Ruhi...who is she, really? Because judging by the last two weeks, she seems to be D3's karta-dharta protagonist, getting more footage than the leads, mostly without any relevant point or purpose, and in her very construction as a character being so SO typically saas-bahu. Swayam sirf mera hai. Sharon tum uski life se discharge hone wali ho. She was carving Swayam's name on her table with a knife. Please.
I am a SwaRon fan and I am actually appalled that they're trying to call this a 'SwaRon-centric track' when there are hardly any SwaRon scenes in it! Sure, love triangles can make a love story interesting, but the question is, how can that happen without showing the love story properly and saving footage only for the third angle? Do we look like a bunch of idiots here? That we'll be so ecstatic about a track being built around SwaRon that we won't notice how there's such a lack of SwaRon in it, in themselves?
Bottomline: I watch D3 for SwaRon and VruShan. There are many others who watch it for Dance, many for KriYaansh and many neutrally for the whole package, or what it once was. But NO ONE, I'm quite certain, watches D3 for RUHI. So please, spare us all and stop wasting so much footage and so much writing on her, it seems to be doing nothing to benefit the storyline and certainly nothing for SwaRon who still look like they're stuck in a loop for about a thousand years. Fight-truce-looklookhawahawa-fight-truce-looklookhawahawa-fight...blah blah. Please get them out of this loop and get their story MOVING. Give SwaRon a proper substantial storyline, do justice to their characters and their love story, give us SwaRon happiness proper, and lead up to a patch up for heaven's sake, it has been long enough. Seriously.
