wow...i was shocked when bala told raman that vandu is a principal-professor of college...😲...i thought she was a housewife taking care of shravan but she is a principal...even raman was shocked...😆
i must says Iyers are highly educated family...where educations holds the most important aspect in their family

Vandita= Principal-Professor

Ishita= Doctor

Bala= Lecturer

Mihika= Business Management

Mr Iyer= Working With Ministry For Decades

they are highly educated people...In Bhallas Household...only raman is well-educated...the rest are making a fool out of their parents and brother's emotions who have lots of expectations from them...

instead of taunting the Iyers...Mrs Bhalla needs to do some detectivegiri on her family...

the Iyers are highly educated people...yet there is no arrogance...no pride in them...they are simple...humble and kind people...

i hope when ruhi grows up she follows her mother's(ishu) family...infact the carbon copy of her mother😉

Hahaha true except Raman everyone is bekaar in Bhalla's family lol😆 jus kidding, waisey jokes apart i was really impressed with the Iyer family on how educated n well behaved they r, yea there r sumtimes where their behaviour is strange, but thats reality! I just loved how they emphasize on the education of their children, as in one epi they showed abt the admission of shravan or sumthing like that!

I agree with you that the Iyyers have been shown as a set of people who give lots of importance to education.And am really happy with this aspect about them.But it has never been shown that the Bhalla' do not value education or lack the understanding of its importance. Instead of pointing to the family as a whole,its necessary to individually evaluate the priorities of each person.Romi doesn't really seem to be very much involved with his studies.Fair enough if he is not enjoying what he is forced to study.There are soo many youngsters out there who out of parental and societal pressures choose those branches in which they are least interested and all that they do is to just manage to pass through the exams for the sake of a degree.The youngest sister of Raman seems to be very well mannered and sober and it can be assumed that she might be doing pretty well in her studies.And Simi seems to be far away from being educated.Each person has got his own characteristics,his likes and dislikes and his own priorities.Just by owning a degree or passing the societal standards of education,a person doesn't actually get called as educated. The Iyyers were not behind in taunting the Bhallas in the earlier episodes of the show.There was one particular scene where Romi after coming to know that Mrs.Iyyer was the one who locked up his mother during the Lohri celebrations,he calmly asks her to not to bother telling the truth to anyone as it would only add create more problems for her.I felt that to be a highly matured act by him.As far as arrogance,pride etc is concerned,I feel that the Iyyers have been toned down a lot after Raman-Ishita marriage and thats what very often happens in our country.The girl' side turns out to be more submissive for the sake of her good married life without any hiccup.But earlier the Iyyers were shown to be on par with the Bhallas in every aspect.So,I would like to end up by saying that the word 'education' has a much more broader and a deeper meaning than just a degree on a paper or a high profile job.

Raman expected something more from him, but got disappointed!😆😆

Bhallas are arrogant since the beginning. Iyers were always more well behaved than Bhallas. Out of four siblings Raman is the only well behaved person. Simmi has no relationship with education. Romi is busy with his mischievous activities. Youngest one remains unnoticed. Betwwen Mrs Bhalla & Mrs Iyer later one is always well mannered. This is the effect of education. The way Mrs Bhalla treats ishita is simply disgusting. I accept that after marriage Mrs Iyer became more submissive she was never such ill behaved like Toshi & simmi. When they met for marriage purpose Mrs Bhalla said Iyers that "subh kam ma abshagun maat falao. aap log yahan se jao" That was so disgusting. How can they treat some humanbeings as inauspicious? Except Mr Bhalla everyone including Raman behaved so rudely with Iyers.They even hurt Iyers religious sentiments by mixing alcohol with prasadam. Last but not least Mrs Bhalla gifted Ishita's wedding gift to Iyers. Iyers are far more well behaved and polite than bhalllas.

Well written!

They are a good family who appreciate the value of education and yet like you say no ghamand over it
I was shocked too to hear Vandu is principal of college
Bhalla's are stark contrast in this matter... Raman seems the only one doing well with education
