Korean Drama- Closure to the OTP

Hi , my first topic in this forum, i used to be a K-drama addict in the initial phase. but i lost all of the addiction due to a single reason that most of the k drama start great but the finale leave me with a huge disappointment due to the closure to the OTP.

Of all the drama's i have watched only a few dramas have ended with proper closure given to the OTP, because most drama's reuinte the OTP at the very last minute . i am okay with the open ending , i dont want every drama to end with the OTP getting married but atleast spend the last 15 minutes showing the OTP with proper closure, so i can move on knowing all the investment of time i made on the show was not a huge waste.

so i am going to mention my big disappointment so far, feel free to share your views. the top five disappointing finale to me are as follows.

- Boys over flowers : 24 episodes and the show finale left me with huge disappointment. i don't know why but it doesn't seem like a proper closure. it was my first show so i expected a lot and the last 2 minutes of reunion was not enough for me, at least they could have showed me a small epilogue of the OTP and most importantly the F4 together.

- my girlfriend is a gumiho: the whole sort of logic behind the last minute reunion of the OTP was what made me not invest into the closure. i am happy that the leads got together but the last minute cosmic effect has the reason mi ho came back was not how i pictured the finale to end.

Haha made a similar topic few months ago
most of the Korean drama endings are disappointing but there are few ones which got great closure

city hunter disappointed me big time with its ending
but the best ending would be for
secret garden - even second leads got proper closure...
goong - even though it's stretched I think it got nice closure

from Taiwanese
it started with a kiss got proper closure rather than pplayful kiss
and autumn's concerto also got satisfactory ending

city hunter ending was really upsetting, most of the series the OTP didn't get enough screen space together as a couple and at least hoped the ending would make up for it but it was a big let down, similiarly faith also as somewhat they same ending. two drama's of lee min ho has to end the same way.

loved goong ending even though it was stretched in the last 2 episodes , at least they had a wedding but didn't liked the whole abroad concept which every k drama seems to insist on.

secret garden had the best ending i have seen in dramas so far, loved 49 days too even though it was a tragic one at least it gave closure to both the OTP's

I thought Dream High and Shut Up Flower Boy Band had such good endings - well it wasn't brilliant but I liked it.
I watched Monstar and hated the ending. The first half of the series was brilliant - second half poor.

& Boys Over Flowers, though I got bored of it - I was slightly glad for it to be over but what the heck was the ending? It didn't made sense. Why were they suddenly at the beach? Why is Ji-Hoo stil following Jandi? >.<

i know right . the last minute abroad trips , and just because some time as passed they can get back together . what happened to Jeremy and shin woo can.t they at least show them together in some sort of epiloge .

when you invest so much time on characters show there happily ever after too .

true boys over flowers ending made me so angry . the second lead was made into a guy who can.t move on for years .
