See firstly we don't know reason for this 'consummating' there can very well be that bcoz haider had started falling for humraira he took the next step.. though he may name it as revenge..

zoya will never take it, as she had already told haider to never hurt her.. but haider had come in humaira's life to hurt her...

I feel HAIRA will consumate for real. I think intension of CVs is to show that revenge is a strong emotion that turns a good person at heart to evil. It goes with the concept that what goes around comes around, Gaffy and Razia did bad things and they will pay through Humaira's trials. In form of Humaira, CVs may want to raise awareness among youth towards hasty actions of getting too quick too far in love/ attraction. Eventually, either Haider will turn good and gain back Humaira's love and forgiveness or Ayaan will redeem himself by raising over his selfishness and standing by Humaira in times of need and accept her with love along with her past.
