Arnav is an emotional state. Firstly Anjali whom he considers as his mother more than a sister left Raizada Mansion, and he thinks that Khushi will soon leave too. He poured every emotion he has been feeling out by singing a song that suits not just Anjali's conditions but also Khushi's. Even though Arnav deserves painful things for upsetting his wife, it is still heartbreaking to see him cry.
I guess Arnav got shot. Otherwise Mami wouldn't have lost her concious. It's said that every bad thing happens for a reason. I hope this pain could be also the reason of a new beginning for Arshi and would bring them together.
