Taani in her long dress at the kitchenette doing something, rey came in from the room stood near the small table behind her as she was humming and tapping her foot ..she turned , saw him smiling and smiled back and stopped .
"stop kyun kiya, continue"She shook her head," tumhe dance itni pasand hain tho seekhthi kyun nahin?"
She laughed " yeh aap poochrahen ho?" he nodded," rey jab main aapse nahin seekhi, tho main kisi aur se seekh nahin paaoongi"he shook his head, she continued," aap ko yaad nahin hain hamara practices?" she laughed.
Of course he remembered, he loved those initial sessions - they had brought dance back to him...he smiled , offered his hand calling her for a dance. she shook her head consciously, he persisted making his cute faces at her, she shook her head again, he took her hand in his and started doing a few steps , she moved with him following his steps consciously , tripped, placed her leg on his and stopped, disengaged herself and moved back , her expression- embarrassed.
"kya hua?" he pulled her back closer, she resisted, holding her hand tighter he forcibly pulled her closer and twirled her around. Her face had fallen at her clumsiness but she couldn't resist following his steps, in tune with him, she let him guide her steps along ...she was still hesitant but continued to move towards and away from him , her feet following his and her hands entwined in his.as she moved closer to him and he stopped, one hand holdin hers and another on her waist, she looked at him, met his eyes and wished she could just stay like that. He understood the feelings that she tried to hide and held her hand tighter. She looked at her own hand in his and trying to disengage it, moved back away from him.
" tumhaaari problem pata hain? yeh ki tum dil se dance nahin karthi, hamesha conscious rahogi tho kuch nahin seekh paaoge" still holding her hand though they were at a distance.
Her face fell, he immediately realised he was alittle loud , not much but then she was extra sensitive about him and dance," sorry"
"nahin... aap teek kehthe ho. Itne saal dance mann mein hi karthi thi , jab aap se seekhne ka mauka mila tho faayda nahin utha payi. So..." she shook herself," but its okay now. mujhe pata hain ki mujhe kya karna hain dance ke elawa" he raised his eyebrows,matlab main MBA karne mein lagi hoon ... "
He frowned," Aisa kahaan likha hain ki everyone who dances should dance professionally.tum dance kisliye karna chchthi thi? Khudh ke liye na? "
"Haan par nahin ho paaya rey...kya karoon? " she got
irritable," waise bhi sab dance karenge
tho aapka fan kaun banega?" the air in the room suddenly uncomfortable

dance par kyun utharna hain? " his tone was harsher than before . she pulled
her hand back leaving his in midair.
" main kisiki par bhi gussa nahin hoon"
"oh ya right, kal se dikh rahaan hain ki tum kisi par bhi gussa nahin ho..." he blurted out and stopped she had folded her hands across her chest and was frowning , looking completely disturbed , all the calm ness in her face lost. He immediately stopped himself and closed his eyes controlling his temper..." yaar ..main... "
"main aap pe sach mein gussa nahin hoon rey" she replied her voice back to its usual softness," main jaanthi hoon ki..." he moved one step forwards and she stopped talking , moved back immediately His face fell," taani..." and stopped wondering how to start the conversation ; both waiting for the other person to begin , all the time a silent conversation going on between them.
