Why do you all of a sudden make her behave out of character. 😕😕 I accept Baldev's blunders only because he has been portrayed that way right from the beginning. Though wrong its quite acceptable and not surprising. Most of the people here don't have an opinion that Gunjan does not deserve Ranvi. Its just her character sketch that people have a problem with.

yaar if it happened with me that on my wedding day it was stopped due to whatever reasons of the guy.. at that point of time i would have made a fantasy of my entire life and all coming crashing down hopelessly will not be easy to digest.. and i will momentarily hate the person who told the truth.. even if i know what happened was right still i wont be able to accept it at that time..
frankly they never showed that gunjan was a negative character..
the problem is that we see so many unrealistic characters on tv that we dont easily connect with realistic characters..
anyways lets see wats in store today tomo and coming week.. and we will know wat gunjan will do and then decide,..
anyways bottom line is that ranvi loves her and not vice verse as of now.. and ranvi deserves what he wants.. and he will pump sense into her head for sure.

If it was me in Gunjan's place, frankly how much ever I had dreamt of going abroad I would have been relieved that I was taken out of the clutches of a wife abuser. I agree to her reaction in the train station, where she walks away from Veera because she was shocked. But I cannot see anything pacifying as a viewer in her conversation with Balwant. I agree that every character has imperfections. She is not negative, she has her flaws but her flaws are much less when compared to Baldev. But if me as a viewer had to accept Gunjan with her flaws she should have been shown that way from the beginning. I remember in the initial episodes she was shown jealous of Veera. Jealousy is part of every human being unless and until it is a saas bahu heroine. But they should have continued with that characterization. We should have seen her being jealous all these days here and there rather than bringing it back as a shocker. So far she had been portrayed as a really good girl with absolutely no problems with Veera. Now all of a sudden she reacts this way😕😕 Out of my understanding. Hence I feel there are major flaws in her characterization, does not mean that I am saying she is negative or she doesn't deserve Ranvi.

@bold. See I believe, here lies all the problems. I don't think you live in the same locale as Gunjan. Thus it is difficult to view things from her point of view. I just caught the repeat of Veera @5 pm and realised that I can justify Gunjan in every possible way.
@blue Sorry to say. But Balwant is a failure as a father. He remembered that Gunjan is his daughter and he has some sort of responsibility towards her at a point when it was not needed(Only Gunjan's POV) I konw what he did was right. But he could have done the same rights with her before too. In her education matters-which is the weakest point of Gunjan. Gunjan was extremely correct in saying off to Balwant. He should realise that he has not done anything for his daughter till date. I more than satisfied with her behaviour. I don't know why. As Namrata said she is one realistic character in Indian Television as of now. I'm so happy to see a refreshing change.
