Sukanya arrives in Agra,Jodha is pleasantly surprised to meet her after so long. They speak about good old days and Shivani growing so fast etc.
Meanwhile,Shivani is on her way to meet Hakim in the northern side of the palace-where some sculpting work was in progress. Moti tells her that she would accompany her,but Shivani refuses and decides to go on her own,with a few other maids. Maham overhears their conversation.
Hakim has already reached the place and he looks around the place. Tejawant was working on a particular wall. Hakim is amazed by seeing his work,so he praises him. He tells him that his fiance', Jodha Begum's sister was very fond os such art-work. Tej is taken aback by the mention of her name by Hakim. He keeps quiet though. Shivani arrives and Hakim thanks her for accepting his invitation.
As they walk along,he tells her that Jodha had told him about her love for such art. At first,Shivani misunderstands that he meant Tej when he pointed at the wall. Shivani is relieved that Hakim doesn't know. Maham is peeping here as well 🤔
Once Hakim leaves,Shivani goes to meet Tej,who was waiting for her close-by. They hug and discuss about how to elope. Maham overhears them as well. 🤓
Cut to,all the Ameri women are seated in the balcony. Daadisaa gifts Jodha a lehenga choli. Meanwhile,the Mughal ladies arrive. Daadisaa hands over gifts to them as well. In return,Hamida also gifts all of them. Including Jodha. She gives Jodha a Mughal attire.
Jodha is in a dilemma. Which outfit should she wear? The lehenga her daadi saa gives or the Mughal attire her mother-in-law gives?
Ruqaiya wonders why Hamida gave her a Mughal attire,when Jodha doesn't even respect the Mughals.
Scene changes,it is the jashn now. Jalal is seated in his throne,looking as majestic as ever. All the guests start arriving. Jodha's entry is announced. Jalal's eyes are fixed at the door and as soon as Jodha enters,his eyes immediately soften.
Jodha chose to wear the Mughal attire. It was a green and cream outfit. Jalal was more than pleasantly surprised. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. Jodha comes forward,smiles looking at him and says 'pranaam' (her eyes somehow said "kaisi lag rahi hoon main? 😉' looking at Jalal) Jalal still a bit shocked,smiles back and looks upon as she walks away.
Jodha sits beside Hamida. Hamida says she was glad that she wore the dress. Jodha replies saying she wanted to welcome Shivani as the Mughal queen 😳 Meanwhile,Jalal is stealing glances at her Jodha too tries to look at him secretly. 😳
The jashn begins in full glory. the dancers start dancing. Jalal and Jodha seemed to have forgotten about everyone else,since they kept looking at each other 😆
Maham warns Ruqaiya again. She tells her that this is all Jodha's plan to get close to Jalal. To become his "khaas". Ruqaiya is furious.
Meanwhile,Rahim comes to the dance floor 😆 Jodha giggles as she sees Rahim dance. Jalal who had been staring at her all the while,is caught red-handed by Jodha 😆
After the dance,Bhaarmal tells Jalal that they would like to perform a particular ritual,so it would be nice if he also woudl take part in it,since he was their son-in-law. Jalal agrees and says that if his Jodha Begum can respect the Mughal sultanate and thus wear the outfit,he would be very glad to do the Rajvanshi ritual.
The ritual was to accept the shagun. He signals Ruqaiya to come forward. Jalal accepts the shagun thaalis and then it goes to Ruqaiya,she accepts it. Next Salima comes and does the same.
Jodha arrives next. Jalal's eyes soften looking at her again. Just as all this way happening,Jalal signals something to her. Jodha is confused. He points at her nose. Jodha,baffled,starts rubbing her nose. In the end,she somehow figures it out that he was telling her to position her nose ring properly. She smiles and does that. She looks at him for approval. He smiles and nods.
Next scene,Jalal is standing alone in the angoor garden (he looks majestic btw in that blue outfit ) Jodha comes and asks why he had called for her. Jalal,whose back was facing her,that he had called her for a reason. Smiling to himself,he then says to her "You look very beautiful today Jodha."
Jodha smiles and thanks him. He turns around now and then tells that the Mughal outfit suited her a lot. Was she planning to change her eeligion too(he was teasing her ). Jodha tells no,he must be dreaming if he thought so. Jalal laughs. Jodha then tells him that she wore the dress only to please Hamida.He then says all that is fine,but he thinks that she had something else in mind while wearing the dress. The dress is obviously green and she very well knew that its his favourite colour,so she wore it woo him 😳
Jodha tries to change the topic 😛 (So,she did wear it for him afterall? 😉)Jalal was not done pulling her leg.With mischief in his eyes,he tells her that there was another thing he wanted to tell her. When jodha asks what,he tells her that teh outfit would suit Benazir much better.
Jodha tries to act cool and says she had no problem with it. He can give it to her by all means. Jalal asks her why she wasn't jealous this time? She tells him that she has told herself that she won't be affected if he spends time with any of the other women. Jalal tells her that he had known her well enough now,so he knew,that whenever she said "yes" she meant "no" and vice versa 😆 So,if she means she is not affected,it means she is affected 😛 Jodha changes the topic again and tells him that if he was done,she would like to leave.
As she turns around and starts walking away,she abruptly stops. Jalal laughs and tells her "see?this is what I meant. You tell one thing and do the opposite.Just now you said You're going and now you stop.You're mind says something and you something totally different"
He adds on "Now this makes me wonder what exactly went on in your mind that night when you insulted me." Jodha looks baffled by his words,but then she starts walking again. Jalal tells her "Wait."
As Jodha turns around,she sees Jalal picking up her anklet which had fallen off. Jalal tells her to take it,before she blames him for stealing her anklets again. 😆 Jodha stretches her hand so that he can hand it over to her. Jalal places the anklet on her hand and then fold her hand over it. 😳
precap : Hakim is in his wedding attire.A qazi comes and tells Jalal that the "muhurat" had passed,so it wouldn't matter if the bride comes now. 🤓
