^^ It's not really a Bollywood film as such actually. This has been intended as an international project from the beginning. They actually intend to primarily tap the HW market with this film, from what I understood so far. So it will be like a HW film only, which will be released in India as well.

It is impossible. Almost. Because she is not an out-of-work actress. Or a critically acclaimed actress with zero commercial viability. She's been selling like hot cakes these days and pretty much everyone in HW wants her, right now. You literally cannot watch a single celeb-based news show without escaping a Jennifer Lawrence mention. I doubt she would have any dates available for Paani, which has been in the news for so long, making it almost a "stale" film. I am not doubting Shekhar Kapur's credibility, it's just that I really doubt YRF can get Lawrence for this project at this point in time.I am sure when the hype around her dies out slowly, then may be she'd act in it. May be. Right now, the chances of YRF trying to cash in on her popularity is much higher than her being in this film.

Cate Blanchett is a reputed, critically acclaimed actress. But she's not the IT actress in terms of popularity. Neither is Nicole Kidman. You really can't compare their popularity to the hype that surrounds Lawrence at the moment. Jennifer Lawrence is literally the IT actress right now. They mention her in every episode of every celeb based news show. Because of the craze surrounding her at this point in time, people naturally have a hard time buying this.

Both are highly overrated actors. Nothing great about them. She will fade away soon after hunger games is over.

HAHAHA! No it's not true at all. She's got a busy schedule, plenty of "hot" offers, and quite honestly and bluntly better offers. As interesting as this might be, it's not that appealing of a project for JLaw.

I think it's just a publicity stunt to create more buzz by throwing around big names. Maybe she's "considered" but hasn't been approached or shown a script?

She was really good in American Hustle. Plus she already had an Oscar nomination before she signed on for THG. So clearly she can act and like Jon Stewart pointed out she is beyond these franchise movies (KStew clearly isn't 😆 ). Also, she is America's Sweetheart right now...so I doubt she'll fade. I feel like she's gonna be the next Julia Roberts or Sandy Bullock.

so she has only been approached, which does not mean she is doing it but they have only offered her role, I don't think its gonna happen, I just don't feel Jennifer would do it.
