Written Update 6th Jan 2014 Jodha Akbar

Zakira warns Benazir about her getting caught,because of the letter she had written to Abul Maali.. Benazir sounded over-confident at the moment. Just then,a messenger comes to tell her that Jalal has called her to discuss something. Benazir is now sensing trouble. She tells Zakira that she won't wait to find another opportunity,she'll kill Jalal tonight.

When she reaches Jalal's chamber,he straight-away gets to the point,asks her about the letter;about why she had written it in Avdhee,when she clearly was a muslim and Avdhee was a script which was used by Hindus.

Benazir tries to change the topic,but Jalal is adamant. Trying toover-power him by her beauty,she seductively asks him if he was doubting him,Jalal looks baffled,but he manages saying that the way the letter was written,getting a doubt on her was very much likely.

She senses Jalal's loss of trust in her.She then brings in crocodile tears and tells him that her mother was actually a hindu,after her marriage,she did convert to Islam,but in her heart,she still was a hindu. She had been missing her mother lately,so she wrote the letter addressed to her in Avdhii.Jalal empathises and orders that the letter be sent.

Its night-time now,Jodha and Shivani are seated in the garden,Jodha giving her sister an oil-massage to her head. As they chit-chat,Shivani notices Jalal in the far end. She calls out to him,a pleasantly surprised Jalal comes to talk to his little sister-in-law. Trying to pull her leg,he tells her that he is a little "khafa" with his "saali-saahiba". A worried Shivani,immediately asks if she had done something to annoy him? Jal very mischievously tells her,yes,she had. She had stolen the seat in which he usually sits,when his Jodha Begum does oil massage for him.

Shivani very lovingly makes him sit in the seat and tells Jodha to do his massage. Jodha looked happy and so was Jalal,as he very comfortably laid his head on Jodha's lap. Jodha very lovingly does his massage. Meanwhile,Shivani was getting restless as she wanted to go to the Ambe Maa temple in Agra,where her lover was waiting for her. Incorporating a fake disinterested tone,she asks Jalal if there was an Ambe Maa temple in Agra.

Jalal tells her yes there was one and his Jodha Begum frequently visited it along with him. Jodha who was very happily doing his massage until now,feels a bit offended when he said "...with him". She calls him a liar. A confused Shivani cross questions,so he doesn't come with you?

Jodha softens and says,no,not like that,he comes,but not every time. Jalal giggles and then complains,saying,"see shivani,your sister doesn't understand that Im not just her husband,Im also the emperor."Yet,she keeps asking me to come along with her every day,when Im busy with political work. Shivani tells Jodha not to do that. Jodha gives a few angry stares at Jalal,he on the other hand was amused (Aww 😳)

Shivani then quickly finds opportunity,so she asks Jalal if she could go to the temple? Jalal says no,she can't,because it was being renovated at the moment. Jodha seemed pleased that he was doing so much for the benefit of a temple. As Jodha continues doing the massage,Jalal purposely in an attempt to tease her,tells her to take care while massaging,she was pulling his hair. Jodha protests and says she didn't. Then Jalal teases her again,saying she didn't know how to give a proper massage,unlike Benazir. Purposely stressing on Benazir and fixing his vision on Jodha,to see her instant repellence to the name. Shivani tells him that her sister really was good with massage. Jalal says "oh really?Then why did she stop doing the massage as soon as she heard Benazir's name?" Jodha is surprised at her own actions,but she is boiling with jealousy.She then begins the massaging business again. Shivani asks Jalal about Benazir. He tells her that she was his khaas daasi.  As Jal-Jo begin having a petty fight again,Shivani intervenes and tells Jodha that jeejusaa was just teasing her afterall. Jalal and Shivani both giggle. Shivani tells Jalal not to tease her sister again,since she is getting VERY jealous 😉

Shivani tries seeking permission for going to the temple again,but Jalal tells her that the place was a mess at the moment due to construction work,so he can't give her permission,its for her own safety. She wonders what to do,on finding no solution,she then leaves.

With Shivani's departure,Jalal teases her again,Jodha pushes him this time and asks him why he told Shivani about Benazir? Jalal smiles and tells her that she would have got to know about it sooner or later,but if she had hard it from someone else,she would have felt bad,so he thought it was better if himself told it to her.

Jodha then discusses  about the Shareefuddin issue. But she didn't have the guts to tell him that she met him.So,she just tells him that there is news that Jalal's life was in danger. He replies saying,yes he knew,Mirza had warned him about this as well. There was no need to worry,there were many people to protect him and then leaves. Jodha is worried.

Next day,Jodha is in the garde,when Mirza comes there. Jodha tells him about Shareefuddin's message,to which Mirza says that only ABul Maali could be behind all this. He also tells her about Benazir's weird letter.He then leaves.

Shivani is standing alone in the garden,when Javeeda comes. As they engage in a conversation,Hakim Mirza arrives and says "Adaab". Shivani thinks he greeted her,so she responds with a "Pranaam",when actually,Mirza had greeted one of the soldiers.The girls laugh thinking about the misunderstanding. Mirza then orders the soldiers to take special attention to the garden,the snake incident should not happen again.Its now that he finally notices Shivani and asks the reason behind the laughter,on getting to know the whole story,he apologises for not paying attention to her. 

Jodha arrives just then and starts chit-chatting.Javeeda then takes Shivani to take a stroll around the garden. Jodha senses Mirza's feelings towards Shivani. When he too begins going along with them,Jodha stops him and asks why was he going behind them? 😆 Mirza was taken by surprise and he didn't know what to say. But soon enough he confesses to Jodha that he likes his sister. 

Cut to,Abul Maali is shown. He had received Benazir's letter and was mighty angry at her not putting an end to Jalal till now. Imtiaz also didn't get his job done,because the initial plan was that Jalal would get down to fight with him,but Adham ruined that plan of his.

Abul now decides to go to Agra himself. 

Meanwhile,back at Agra,Jodha is doing tulsi pooja,with her eyes closed. She asks god to find a way for her,so that she can clearly tell Jalal about Shareef's message. As she opens her eyes,she finds Jalal in front of her,with an unfeigned smile on his face. Jodha is pleasantly surprised at seeing him. Just then,she sees two masked men,clad in black,running towards Jalal from the far end,aiming knives at him.

In an attempt to  protect him,she quickly goes towards him and hugs him from back tightly. (haaye ). Jalal seemed confused at this unexpected display of affection. As she now looks at him,Jalal's confused stares transitioned into loving ones,as he looks at her with nothing but love.

Shivani and Moti view all this and smile amongst themselves. They both come towards them and ask Jodha for her reason behind all this PDA,Jodha then looks behind and realises that there were no masked men afterall,it was just an imagination. Jalal teases her by saying,yes Shivani,see,your sister cannot control herself 😆 Jodha looked confused,Jalal thinks that she was wondering about him standing there when she was doing tulsi pooja. So he tells her that he was just passing by,when he saw her doing pooja,so he had come to take "prasaad". Shivani teases him,saying,"did you actually come to take prasaad,or that was just a bahaana to meet Jodha?" Jalal blushes and then says,"well you caught me sister-in-law" giggles and then leaves.

Jodha is annoyed that she lost another opportunity to tell him about Shareef's message.

At night,Jalal is having drinks with Adham. He tells him that by defeating Imtiaz,the wrestler,he had won the hearts of the subjects of Agra,which he had lost sometime back. Maham comes and suggests that they should have a celebration for this win. Jalal tells yes,they should plan one. Adham adds on,saying Benazir should perform there. Maham glares at him. Jalal notices the displeasure and asks her for the reason,she changes the topic by saying,Jodha wouldn't like it. Jalal says that need not be an issue. The celebration will be only for men. Maham plots in her mind-Adham would make Jalal drink so much,that he would lose his conscience and then Benazir can get close to Jalal. Jodha would boil hearing about this.

Precap : Jalal is seated on his diwaan,as Jodha(with her hair left open) tries to get close to him,Jalal remembers how she had pushed him,so that hurt bottles up again. "How she forget all that and now behave like this,she wanted to get close now?" she wonders. Angry he was,thus pushes her. (This is most probably Benazir,he is imagining as Jodha.)
