I have been waiting to understand a concept behind this story, and so I did not want to comment on something that I did not have a grasp on.
So Khushi has been affected with her father and mother's separation, and for some unforgivable reason, she cannot stand her mother. Sashi Joshi is the forgotten father, but he still manages to send money to his kids. She views her brother as her only parent, and is only respectful towards him.
I hope Khushi's meeting with her father taught her to be a little more respectful towards the people around her, and hopefully this will lead to her forgiving her mother for whatever reason. I really cannot stand Sashi, nor Juhi, and I hope to never see them again.
