Here is our list of films from which we had medium to high expectations - and boy were we disappointed. Join us if you have also felt Bollywood's betrayal!
1. Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola - After delivering flawless films like Omkara and Kaminey, Vishal Bhardwaj gave us Matru which the biggest disappointment of the year. It tried to take on political satire but all we got was a pink buffalo and some out of place African dancers.
2. Besharam - The guy who made Dabangg had the entire (and super talented) Kapoor family at his disposal and this what he came up with? Thanks, but no thanks Mr. Kashyap.
3. Ek Thi Daayan - The first half of this film was so terrifyingly awesome; it could have redefined the horror genre in Hindi cinema. But after watching the second half, we realized it was wishful thinking.
4. Ghanchakkar - Someone just needs to draw a line between quirky and downright lame. We're referring to Vidya Balan's over the top Panjabi woman character that did not sit well with us. Other than that, the sheer length and anti-climatic ending of the film wasted all that was good in it.
5. Zanjeer - The first look and trailer left us with medium expectations. Then came Mumbai Ke Hero and stomped all over them, so the film itself stood no chance!
6. Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster Returns - This is not the sequel the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster deserved. Nuff said.
7. Aatma - A conceptually good film was let down by the dialogues and the weirdest jodi in the history of Bollywood!
8. Krrish 3 - Shitty songs, sub-par special effects and "what the hell was that" story line made it one of the biggest disappointments of 2013!
9. Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobara - Dobaara aisa mat karna, Ekta Kapoor!
10. Ship of Theseus - This was an ambitious project with good intentions but it just lacked a little something!
