chapter 9

morning sun rays always bring new life , new beginning and new start in every one's life...let 's see that same is applicable to arnav's life also...

IN ARNAV'S ROOM

after yesterdays's conversation , he locked himself in his room , din't want to face his family specially payal ...he can't see accusing and hatred in her eyes ...he always saw respect and brotherly love in those eyes...he decide to go early to office and come home late...

he just come out from bathroom after taking cold shower ...his door knok ..., if it was regular day , it was payal who bring his coffee with his usual business news paper , but there is nothing like yesterday...he become confuse that who is there , as he strictly inform every member that no one allow in the room except payal , akash and nk...

akash and nk must be getting ready in their room and payal [name itself bring guilt in him] may be never see his face again...his chain of thougths broke by another loud knok...

he walk up to door and open it and turn his back , he din't want to see anyone or talk with anyone of family member ...he started to getting ready in his usual way...then he hear sweet voice which he become habitual from last five years...

"bhai ...why you din't open door ...I was waiting outside with your coffee and this is your news paper..." said cheerful payal ...

she enter in his room and put his coffee and newspaper in table and open the window curtain...and smile looking at arnav who is become statue after seeing payal in his room all smiling and taking as usual through mirror...he din't say any thing just turn his face in side as payal can't see him crying ...he know his sister forgive him but is he deserve this forgiveness ...no he can't...

payal making the bed proper and the things he needed regularly...

she take off his hanki , wallet , watch and other things from cupboared and put it all in bed ...

" bhai ... all things I put in bed as usual you needed ...[she walk up to him and make him stand infront of her ...started putting tie around his neack ...and give him coffee to drink...] bhai ...come fast downstairs I am waiting for u...and don't forget to bring my gift..."

she about to leave but arnav stop her ...her normal behavior making him guilty more and what this gift ??????????he can't understand anything ...so he stop her and take her both hands ,without looking in her eyes and said " payal I don't deserve this respect and your affection ..please punish me ...I know you forgive me but only mistake deserve forgiveness not sin ...what I deed is a sin , sin deserve only punishment..."

" how could you justify what you did is sin or mistake ???????????? its only decide by me , and I know my brother never do any thing which harm his family or love ones...what you deed is only your love for your sister and I am proud that you are my brother and I am member of your family bhai...which brother does the thing which you did ?????? huh tell me na ...your love , affection , respect towered the family is unique bhai ...and we love some one we always want them to smile and happy and that what you did that's not wrong ...yes but the way you choose is completely wrong ...what you did with khushi is wrong , but in all this what you get ...nothing nor sister or love ...if some one become prime victim is you bhai ...you lost every thing ...but you never lose me ...I always there for you in your every path ...but still you get punishmet , which I give you ...so be ready and come downstairs..." said payal with lots of love and concern

arnav who overwhllemed by this just hug her noded like good child who get his faviourate toffee back..." what gift payal ...there is no one birthday today or any festival then ..."

payal who hear all this said faking anger " bhai ...you forget what is today ...I am not taking with you ...I am going " she left...

arnav who try to stop payal become more confuse and started to remember what is today special and see hariprekash who just pass by hall and he see in his wrist and shout "damit ...its rakhi today ..."

he hurriedly went in hall started to find payal , he saw every one ready and nk already there ...he too go there and stand infront of payal , who is busy arranging thal for aarti in mandir... he scretch his head then he remember he forget to bring gift...

payal who saw horror in arnav's face started giggling and make sad face to tease him ...payal tie rakhi first to nk ... and nk gift beautiful sari and matching necklese...then she come in front of arnav ...who is feeling like fool and try to say something but he see smilying face of payal and understand that she just teasing him and he too smile ...payal put tika on his head and after aarti she tie rakhi on arnav's wrist too and feed him suger free ladoo...

arnav = payal I am really sorry , I don't have any gift right now , I forget about raksha bandhan ...plz...for [ he say further , payal stop him by putting her hand in his mouth and noded in no and give him glare for asking forgiveness again and again]

payal = its good that you forget ...now I can take my faviourate gift from you ...you can't say no ... [aranv smiled at her childishness and noded in yes] hmmm...so I want ... bhai I want ...[ arnav who is getting impatient asked "what" ] ...to celebrate my next reksha bandhan with khushi in this house ... will you give me ????????

arnav promise payal by taking her palm in his and as granting thier both wish the bells of devi mayia's temple too started ringing and conferming their wish... and said payal to come office at afternoon...he about to leave the place but voice stop him ...

'chote you forget that you have elder sister too...who always tie rakhi first in the morning in your wrist and then eat any thing but you forget every thing ...' anjali said with crying...

arnav - ' i din't forget any thing mrs.jha ...you forget my words which i told you to remember forever ...any ways let me repet ...

" you are just daugter of this house and my mother and one resposibility which given by my mother to me or in specific words just on son's duty ...not my sister ...i repet for you mrs.jha ...[IN LOUD TONE] NOT MY SISTER ...DO YOU GET THAT ..."

payal instentely held his shoulder and try to clam him by signing her eyes ...he close his eyes and left house after reminding her to come office at noon without break fast...

anjali who feel humileted run to her room and cry her heart out because today she face the real ASR'S worth...

shyam who is smriking in his mind and feeling happy that distance between brother and sister growing day by day...that what he want and now he easly use anjali against that asr...

[she try to make understand more than shyam to herself ...but she forget when time slip like sand from hands only empty hands remains with lots of sorrows and guilt...]

shyam - anjali i want to give you good news...i clear all amt of loan of bank ...and my debts too ...now we have our house anjali ...i am so happy...just needed your signature on house name transfer papers ...i want thatt house on your name my rani shahiba...

payal serving lunch to arnav and akash both ...as arnav din't eat anything she make his faviourate kheer to chang his mood...they were eating , payal ask

arnav [ teasing tone] - no i dont like it...[try to hide smile but akash already see it and he to smile ]

payal - why bhai ... it din't tast good ...i am s [ but she cut by laughter of both brothers , then she understand she is prenked by both ...]

arnav - payal i din't like because i love it...you make it best kheer ...and they all smile ...

arnav - ok lets go ...i want to gift you something ...its your day ...akash you too join us ...

akash - no bhai ...i have meeting ...you and payal carry on ...i meet you at home ...he leave the room...

payal - its not needed bhai ... you are with us ...its more than sufficient ...no need of any gift ...
