WARNING: long bhaashan ahead...sorry friends, couldnt help it...It had to go long.. and errors honge kyun ki emotional mode pe likha hai...
I am not sure where to start from...chalo, let me start from the show itself
About the show...
Arjun is not just another show to me. For almost a year, I had not turned on television for any other show except Arjun. Thats how it had established its place in my heart.
Right from the promo, I was hooked to it and I decided that this is the only show worth watching. I literally stopped seeing all other shows as Arjun distinctly made a benchmark for itself and I couldnt sit through any other tear jerker, saas bahu serials. Well I wasnt a fan of typical saas bahu saazish family dramas but still, I had some regular shows which I just quit after watching Arjun!
The first episode was a fire cracker...it just put up the show in top league of brilliant crime shows! That remains my most favourite episode till date...Well there were more of such brilliant episodes like the check mate episode but as they say the first best impression was made by the first episode...so that place stays intact!

About the team...
ETF, a brilliant team of well defined characters was the primary factor, of course apart from the hot sharp cop Arjun, which pulled me towards the show and I was just immersed in Arjun prem (show as well the cop).
Sameer Rathod played by Behzaad Khan, Chief ETF. Man of principles and made his impact deep in our hearts right from the first episode. His cold vibes and hot glaring exchanges between his second in command Arjun Rawte established the popular Rathod Rawte, RR chemistry as I always refer to them...They were remarkable and no other Jodi could grab that position in terms of the brilliance they displayed!
"Dammit Rawte" being his ultimate dialog which we can never ever get tired of...He was a capable chief who could put all his team members in right places and make them pull up socks at the time of need...If someone could pull the reigns of his second in command Rawte to some extent, it was one and only Rathod...
Their lost friendship, their past, and perhaps many equations circling the Roshni and her death were kept hidden and perhaps all of that would remain unexplored and deep buried now!
Miss you chief! You just disappeared without a mention of exit...But you will always be remembered as Arjun's Rathod!
Arjun Rawte played by Shaleen Malhotra:
Ab innke baare mein kya aur kaise bathavum? His magic has hypnotized all our hearts! "Kuch toh choot raha hai" Samjhe ya samjhaavum? Kehte kehte humaare dil aur dimaag mein uthar gaye ke ab dil ko show se choot hi nahi paa rahi hoom!
A haunting painful past surrounds him and that makes him all the more ruthless and angry at times...That arrogance, anger and adamant nature makes him all the more hot, dashing and loveable...yes in fictions, we adore and love such guys though reality speaks a different language..
His stern, ever serious angry face makes us wonder if he can ever smile...His glares are enough to burn the opponent down...his aims, his gut feelings, his intuitions never fail and that makes him the super cop of ETF!
He is such an huge inspiration to me and my stories that I cant think of another name to my hero in my stories...
Shreekanth Sen aka Shree played by Sidharth Sen
The perfect techie who has the ability to track down any information, hack computers, mail servers and what not...
Well equipped in all gadgets, its a treat to watch him play the perfect techie cop...Any gadget you name it and he has it...
An inevitable asset to the team and he just left without a word...without a trace...miss you techie sen!
Chotu played by Ketan Karande
Commando Chotu...he and Shree were the comic relief to the otherwise ever serious team...their hilarious chit chats always made the serious episode light and added a comic touch to it!
His links and informers always helped the investigation and steered the team to the right leads! His threats and punches to the criminals and suspects were a treat to watch!
Will miss you bheem aka commando!
Riya Mukherji played by Sana Khan
Research specialist...she entered ETF with a dhamaaka...a sizzling fight with our hero...They shared some cute sweet moments which we would always cherish!
Ariya which could have become a magical love story ended abruptly, painfully with her death! Miss her and Ariya always!
Aisha Kapoor played by Shital Shah
Lady dabaang or the jungili billi as I had termed her...her entry was the most dhamakedar...one of the best episodes...Introduced as Nadia, an undercover cop and then goes on to form a vital part of ETF...She is a role model, an inspiration to all women...her courage, her brilliance need no introduction...Everybody is a fan of the daring cop she portrayed...She was the only one who could answer back...and give tit for tat replies to Rathod and Rawte!
Midway into her entry, there was even a romantic track started or a budding track between Rathod and Aisha but unfortunately, it also met an abrupt end with the chief's sudden exit!
Will miss you lots Aisha...you are one of my most favourite characters in Arjun. No other lady cop can fill that place of yours!
Liza D'Cruz played by Ritu Chauhan
Again a most promising entry into ETF...a forensic expert who can dig into any clue and extract details helpful to the case...
Adding to it, is a past story with Shree...she is his college mate...to be precise his rival in college...their fire cracker reunion had all promises of a potential love track...Again it wasn't explored and ended without a trace!
Sakshi Anand played by Mrual Thakur:
An investigative journalist and deputed into ETF for making the public aware of ETF's work. Her entry and her purpose of being in ETF was always under scanner...Her characterization was ignored totally and as a result, it was the most weakest...Many of us had given constructive inputs for building and improving her character but nothing worked out.
Behind that smile, there sure was a pain and a sorrowful past...there were small hints to it but nothing much was explored leaving a big question mark on what it was!
But despite all that, she sure managed to make her place in my heart.. Was really looking forward for the romantic track between Arjun and Sakshi... Their chemistry had started off creating magic but now that she leaves, its ended abruptly as well...
*************************************************
Last but not the least is
Roshni Rawte played by Samiksha. She is not part of ETF but still is a vital part of Arjun. Afterall, she is the only female who has been lucky enough to get the hot cop's love and attention. But unlucky too that she died brutally at the hands of a deadly criminal Sikandar. Arjun's love story and his life with his wife Roshni ended incomplete!
Roshni was the light of Arjun's life and with her death, he plunged into total darkness!
Wondering what happens now to the story of Arjun avenging her death!
"Pyar ka dard sirf wahi samjh sakhte hai jinnke pyar adhoora reh gaya ho..." a touching line, a parting dialog from Riya and the same completed by Arjun lingers in my heart even today!
This statement has been proved time and again in this show and now I am able to understand because my love for this show also remains incomplete!
Show khatam nahi hua magar sab kahaaniyaan adhoora reh gaya...aur humesha keliye adhoora hi rahega!
ETF aur Arjun ke aaade adhoore kahaaniyon ke naam...
********************************
With ETF no more in the story, many things vanishes forever...Things, as in lifeless ones which were equally important part of our beloved show...the ETF SUVs, their ETF jackets, the ETF office, the mugs, the conference room, their ID cards, the dialogs they voiced when introducing themselves as ETF officers everything goes away from us leaving a big hole, a vacuum in all our hearts which will never be filled up again now! They are lifeless but added soulful meaning to the whole show!
I know I am being overly emotional and sentimental but just couldn't help it...
*********************************
What the show did to me...well you can ask what it did not do to me...that would be a small reply...
It has made me a little crazy...I smile, I cry, I get emotional, I laugh, I romance too with it...All my weekends are dedicated to the show...I plan my outings in such a way that I am before the TV during 8-9 on saturday and sunday. Yes, have to thank my family too for adjusting and understanding my Arjun prem!
I started writing stories, from romance to thrillers, to horror, to fantasies...touched some sensitive topics and social causes in my stories, got some amazing friends who share my same paagalpann for the show, learnt to make video mixes...joined twitter which I never thought I will...actually so many more...I cant list it out here because it will go on and on...
It gave me my amazing set of BBs...so many friends for life...
Well the show and this forum has been really an amazing part of life...shaayad isiliye, show ke revamp hona aur team ka jaana itna bhaari padh raha hai...And I am not able to take it lightly! π
But well, I know its all part of life and we need to take it in that spirit and try to move on!π€
Easy to say and tough to practice but since its not in our hands, we just learn to live with it and move on...
Dil kartha hai ke sab ko ETF mein khaid kar doom so that they just stay in the show but I know thats not possible...So wishing them all the best in their life and career! Let all their future projects succeed!
For our beloved SM and the new team which joins him, I wish all the very best! Let this combination and plot work wonders like the previous one!
And for myself and the other Arjun crazy fans here, I truly wish we accept the revamp of our favorite show wholeheartedly!
Quoting my favorite lines "God, give me the strength to accept things which are beyond my control"
