Written Update: Ped ka Rahasya

In a jungle at night:
The episode begins with a girl moving about with a torch in the middle of a jungle in the dead of the night apparently in search of something. She suddenly hears a roar and panics. She jerkily tells Raghu( probably someone who loves scaring her) to stop frightening her and to reveal himself. She continues to hear the roar and begins to call out her friends' names as Ravi, Raghu and Juhi. Now Juhi and others are seen searching for the girl and Juhi regrets sending her alone into the jungle. The girl suddenly feels someone sneaking up behind her and begins to run. The girl whose name is revealed as Gayatri trips off a branch and falls down. She picks up her flashlight and when she stops near a tree, a branch lowers and winds itself around her and pulls her up. Hearing Gayatri's scream, the friends panic
The same jungle: Next morning
Trio, Purvi and the others arrive there following a call from the three friends. Juhi leads them to the place from where Gayatri disappeared. The guy explains that while they were playing she had got angry and went her own way. Juhi tells that she had tried to stop her but in vain. Abhijeet scolds them for selecting such an eerie place for a picnic. The team reaches the place from where Gayatri had disappeared. Purvi finds a locket and the guy asserts it to be Gayatri's. On searching the place Rajat finds coins and Abhijeet tells that it could either be Gayatri's or the killer's. Daya too finds a coin and they follow the trail.They find so many coins and ACP concludes that whatever had happened it had taken place there. Suddenly ACP sees something and asks Nikhil to climb up the tree and to lower something. Nikhil tells that it was someone's pants' buckle and it turns out to be Gayatri's. ACP assures them that they'll find Gayatri by all means. They spread out and search in all possible directions. Abhijeet finds a bonfire place and calls the others. The friends deny having made it. This asserts the team that someone else was definitely present in the jungle.Juhi says that she didn't see anyone else in the jungle. Daya finds a rope and concludes that someone else had been camping there. They find the rope cut and Daya tells that it had been done sometime before as the rope was still warm. Rajat suggests that they go the village nearby and investigate there.
In the village
Rajat, Nikhil and Purvi doubt something wrong on seeing people moving about in a hurry. They introduce themselves and Purvi shows Gayatri's snap on her mobile. But no one recognizes her. One man asks if that girl too had gone missing and explains that a 16 year old girl named Gowri had been missing. The villagers comes forward to help them in finding Gowri and tell the team that a spirit has been haunting the forest and it must be its job.They also tell that the spirit attacks anyone who's late to home and loots away all their possession. Purvi contradicts this and tells them that if it's a spirit's work, then people wouldn't lose their possession and instead tells that it's a work of some human being(What a powerful way to say that! With such confidence 😳) . In answer to Rajat's question on seeing any unknown man near their village, the villagers say that they had seen someone. A man tells that the man had been bulky and had been carrying a bag. Nikhil says that he might have had a corpse inside it. A lady tells that he had also fed her husband with chicken and that makes Rajat ask if there was a dhaba nearby.
In the dhaba:
The man tells the team that the man had come there and asks if there was a problem. The man then explains that the guy had parked his vehicle outside his dhaba for 24 hours. The team gets the registration number of the vehicle and decides to find out.
To a house:
The team reaches a house and a man opens the door. Rajat asks if he had been to the bhoondighat jungle on Tuesday and Purvi asks him if he recognized Gayatri who had been there the same night. On hearing the news of the girl missing, he tells that it must be the spirits' work and Rajat asks him to shut up. The man tells that he was a documentary film maker and that he had gone to the jungle to capture the ghosts. He tells that the ghosts were captured on his screen and we heard clearly(God! What's this? Ghosts don't exist and on top of it they're getting captured on screen😲). The team sees the footage which shows a man whom the man had assumed as a ghost( Poor guy, didn't know that ghosts float and don't walk😡) and they hear the roar. Purvi says that roars of wild animals are common at night. Nikhil asks him where he had hidden Gowri and Gayatri but the man seems to hear the names for the 1st time. He also asks what he had in that bag. He says that he had been having his camera lenses in the bag and didn't want it to be broken. Rajat asks if he had seen anyone else but the man says no. The man says that he had heard a girl's scream at around 1.30 and says that he had thought it to be the spirit's.
In the jungle:
Duo (Abhijeet without coat! Haila ) are in the jungle talking to each other. Daya says that it was strange that people still have faith in ghosts and spirits and tells that it could've been a hocus-pocus game for Freddy and they both laugh( Oh God! How many days since we saw this). Abhijeet says that they would surely encounter the spirit that kidnapped Gowri and Gayatri.
3 people are seen talking through the jungle and it is none other than Nikhil, Shreya and Pankaj in disguise. Shreya constantly tells that there was nothing called a spirit. Abhijeet asks Daya to signal the 3 out there and Nikhil too responds to the signal. Suddenly they see someone running and being chased by another wrapped around by a black shawl. Duo pursue the chase and the 3 disguised officers are seen talking in tense tones. Suddenly someone sneaks up behind Shreya and takes away Nikhil and Pankaj. Shreya, on searching finds the last part of the 2 being dragged away and goes behind. Here duo captures their' spirit and Daya hands him a tight slap. The guy denies having heard of Gowri and Gayatri and Abhijeet shows him Gayatri's photo. Shreya runs upto them and reports that Nikhil and Pankaj had been taken away. The guy says that he had seen few goons in the jungle and it must be their job.
The next morning Shreya shows them the exact spot and explains that she had been leading the way when the other two had stopped talking.She also says that when she turned around both of them had vanished. When she searched for them she had seen them being dragged away by someone. Duo follows the direction showed by Shreya. They find something and look at each other( Footsteps I guess)
The scene then changes to Nikhil and Pankaj lying unconscious in a hut and their kidnappers are discussing as to how long they were going to hold them captive.One man says that they kill him but another says that they shouldn't do it unless their boss told them to.
Here again the trail leads them to the hut which the old aatma' had told them about. They decide to break in and find out. The goons hear the disturbance outside and go out to see what was happening. Once they come out, a mass shootout takes place. Two other goons escape and duo take the chase. Shreya goes inside and revives Nikhil and Pankaj. Duo catch up with the goons and after their task is done they come up to the hut and Pankaj explains that they had sneaked up behind them and had hit them hard on the head and they had fallen unconscious.(Really Ajay Nagrath is improving, liked this scene of his😊). Nikhil says that he remembers the man's face and Abhijeet asks him to make the sketch( Aha! The fire in those eyes!!)😳
In the bureau:
Nikhil is helping the artist in making the sketch while the others are checking the objects that they got from the hut. They assume various articles to be of Gowri's or others and Freddy tells that their motive is probably robbing and killing. Nikhil who was done with the sketch shows it to ACP who asks Shreya to check in the criminal database. The match it found and the guy is Jagga who had already committed 15 murders (and where's he? roaming around again killing??) Abhijeet says that if such a dangerous person is involved the motive must surely be something else. ACP asks Freddy to bring in the map of the jungle. On studying the map, they find a red spot marked above a Green Nest Enterprises and Abhijeet tells that it must be Jagga's next target.
Green Nest Enterprises
They arrive at the place and Daya tells that it is owned by a man named Ved. They suddenly hear a gunshot and they rush inside. The staffs tell them that a friend named Ranvijay and a 3rd person who had been fighting for money were with Ved. Daya breaks open the door to find Jagga lying lifeless on the floor.A staff recognizes him as the one fighting for money and then Daya finds Ranvijay's unconscious body and ACP orders him to be taken to the hospital. Daya finds a gun which he suspects to be Ved's and just then ACP finds an open window and ascertains that Ved had escaped through the window. ACP asks a staff about the crux of their argument but the staff denies knowing anything and they decide to find out about him.
At the hospital:
Sachin is confused as to the recent happening. Daya tells that maybe Jagga had attacked Ranvijay and Ved, in an attempt to escape had snatched the gun and shot him. But ACP questions him back asking why Ved had to escape instead of helping his friend to the hospital. The doctor says that had they been a little late then Ranvijay must become critical and he also permits them to talk to Ranvijay. ACP asks him the details of the happening. Ranvijay tells that Ved had shot him but by mistake. He says that he is an environmentalist and says that Ved had called him to discuss about his new company. When they were discussing, Jagga had come and asked Ved for money. Ved had denied giving him money and that Jagga pulled out his gun. In order to escape, Ved and Jagga had begun to fight and that resulted in the shot. Daya gets a call from Abhijeet ("Haan Abhijeet"!!! 😳😳) and later informs ACP that Ved had been denied permission by the Government to open his industry near the jungle because he could damage the ecosystem there. So Sachin tells that the aatma and stuff were Ved's work to frighten people away and make his project a success. Ranvijay mentions a place far from Bhoondighat and tells that Ved was about to set it up there. Ranvijay gives them the additional information that Ved had a younger brother named Uday.
Uday's house:
Uday's getting ready to go somewhere but CID enters( Uday never closes his door I think. Wonder why no robbery has taken place in his house 😆) and Daya asks for his phone to check whether he was about to meet Ved after reaching the airport. Daya checks the phone and tells that he had not been talking to Ved. Uday tells that he and his business partner Suresh were heading to Chennai for a meeting. ACP says that he cannot go anywhere unless the case was solved. They ask him about Ved's whereabouts and he denies knowing anything. Sachin explains that Ved had committed a murder and absconded. Uday tells them that it was impossible and tells that Ved was in some kind of a problem. He also tells that Ved had given him abox long back and had asked him to keep it safely. Uday opens the box and the team finds the plan and map of a Red Forest Company. ACP tells that Ved's missing and this particular company was inter-twined issues which were to be solved by them.
CID Bureau:
Abhijeet is talking to Sachin about the Red Forest Company and informs ACP that the Red Forest Company about which they had found in Uday's house was a fake one. So ACP tells that even the owner must be fake. ACP tells that one person is there who could fraud this matter.
The Jungle:
The goons are talking something about a 5 star hotel. They call him and tell that they wanted to talk to him. Abhijeet and the others are present in hiding there and they follow them. The goons stop suddenly and dig the mud. After a second of confusion, it dawns to Abhijeet the real truth behind the puzzling case. Daya voices it out as the villain's hideout. Daya asks Abhijeet to take care of the others while he would meet the boss. Daya lowers himself down and so does Shreya . Suddenly they hear someone gasping and they are shocked to find Ved lying in a semi conscious state. Ved cries and asks for help. Daya then asks about the others and Ved gives him the direction. Once inside Daya finds all the kidnapped people. Daya asks a man to take them safely but is interrupted.
Confession
It is Ranvijay who interrupts Daya and tells him that he would kill all of them. Daya tells him that none had yet succeeded in devastating CID. Ranvijay warns Daya that if he comes forward another step, he would kill the girl next to him. Shreya comes behind him and snatches Ranvijay's gun from him( I have to agree, Jhanvi did this scene really well). Daya inches forward and Ranvijay escapes. Daya chases him and shoots him in the leg and hands him a tight slap.
Ranvijay says that being an environmentalist, he loved nature and wanted to protect it from any perilous acts. That's why he had made up the drama of ghosts, spirits and kidnaps. In answer to Abhijeet's question Ranvijay tells that he had not wanted Ved to set up his factory in the forest and that's why he had kidnapped him.
FLASHBACK: Ranvijay goes to Ved's office and whistles and few goons come and take him away and he says that he would take care of Jagga too. Jagga enters and tells that he would take his share of money and only then leave him. Ranvijay shocks him and shoots him. (FLASHBACK ENDS)
Daya says that it is good to love nature but when it becomes madness it destroys the society. Abhijeet tells that he would be hanged for this murder.
