The hakim gets killed by the soldiers,sent by the same person,who was also behind the Jodha's fake pregnancy plot.
But before dieing,the hakim leaves a clue for Jalal. Salima comes to meet the hakim and finds her dead.
Jalal tells Atga sahaab about the fake pregnancy plot. But he decides not to cancel the jashn,which had been organised to celebrate Jodha's pregnancy. Just then Salima comes and informs Jalal about the hakim's death. They rush to see the hakim.
Jalalis in deep thoughts thinking about the murder. He orders that the hakim's body be taken outside secretly,so that the news doesn't spread. He also tells them to bury her with full dignity.
Just as the soldiers were about to take her body, Jalal notices mud in the hakim's nails. What work could a doctor have with mud? Jalal gets a vague idea that the hakim must have left clues.
He goes around the place trying to find mud,salima walks along. They find some flower pots with mud. Jalal digs it up,to find a letter. He asks salima to read it. In the letter,the hakim had described the culprit as a burkha lady,she said that she had managed seeing a green colour bangle and her anklets.
Jalal makes a plan. The jashn would bring in many people. The culprit too,possibly. Salima and Jalal would keep an eye open for the green bangle lady.
Meanwhile, a tall man's shadow is shown. He was talking to the soldiers who had killed the hakim. This tal guy was the culprit and the burkha lady was working for him.
Ruqaiya,who usually never went to any jashn,which was kept,in honour of other wives of Jalal,this time decides to go. It was for Jalal's child afterall.
Adham discusses the advantages of Munim vecoming the wazir-e-aala with Maham. They also discuss about Jodha's supposed adultery.
Cut to,Jodha hesitantly gets ready for the jashn. She puts on the ring Jalal had asked her to put. Jalal comes to her chamber ti escort her to the jashn venue.
As he walks in,he talks to Jodha in his mind,telling her that it was doing all this drama to find the culprit. How he wished he could tell her everything at once,but he could not. Not until the culprit is caught.
He then actually opens his mouth to speak. He tells her that he was glad that she had honoured his eord by wearing the ring. She mocks him by saying that she had worn it for Hamida's sake.
She fires a word or two as usual at him,but he stays calm. In the end,very politely ge says that if she was done with today's quota of nagging,they should head to the venue.
As they walk towards the venue,Jodha keeps complaining,but Jalal keeps quiet.
In his mind though,all he could think about,was how hard it was for him to keep all this a secret. Especially to her.
She then starts telling about leaving Agra,once she gives birth. Jalal ignores her statement,instead he tells her that he had thought of names for their child. If it was a boy,they would name him,Salim,in honour of the Salim Chisti. If it was a girl,it would be Khanam Sulthan.
Jodha starts shouting at him again. Jalal is lost in his own thoughts yet again. In his mind,he says to her that those names he had decided when Ruqaiya was pregnant. That dream was shattered. This time too,he has not become a father. But he has to put on a smiling face,in order to catch the culprit.
Jodha mocks him telling,he must be very happy,that he has become a father. All he is,is a fierce ruler,who wanted a heir for the throne,by hook or by crook. Jodha had to suffer because of all of this.
Jalal repeats that he didnt break any promise. To tease her,he says ,that night,she herself had come to him,it was Jodha who was craving for love.
Jodha denies it repeatedly,saying it was impossible. They reach the venue soon. The jashn began,Jalal and Salima are on high alert,looking for the culprit-lady with green bangle.
