Written Update 11th nov 2013 Jodha Akbar

Jodha is very pleased with Hamida and her cordial behaviour towards her.Just then,Jalal comes into her chamber with his birthday gift for her. He apologises first for being this late,but it took him quite some time to figure out what she would like.Nobody could understand Jodha Begum afterall.But in the end,the gift he chose,would definitely be loved by her,this he was sure of.

Why so,she asks?He replies saying,although he didn't understand her completely,but he understood her enough.However so,she is adamant,stating she wouldn't like it.Jalal simply smiles and says that,in that case,he would ask her to be polite and accept the gift. Afterall,its the thought that matters,not the gift.He then leaves,saying he would meet her soon in the jashn.

Moti comes and asks her to open her gift.She seemed disinterested,pointing out that it would be a heavy necklace,Jalal couldn't possibly think of anything else.Moti opens the gift box Jalal had left and her eyes glitter.She then pleads Jodha to see what it was.As soon as she sees it,Jodha'e eyes are pleasantly stunned.

It was an intricately embroidered flute decorated with a peacock feather. Jodha says that this was definitely the best gift she had ever received in all these years. Jalal proves her wrong each time,whenever she expects him to do something wrong,he does something good. There was definitely more to him that what meets the eye,she thought to herself.

All have gathered for the jashn. Jodha sits beside Jalal. All of Jodha' favourites have been taken care of. Rajasthani folk dancers have also been called for.Meanwhile,Jalal asks Jodha if she likes his gift. Jodha was very grateful for his gesture. 

Just then one of the eunuchs offers her sharbat(juice),she was hesitant first,but she drinks it anyway. After a few sips,she faints.

As the khwaja sera tends to her in the chamber,Jalal asks her how her health was.Khwaja sera tells him that after hearing what she was about to say,his health would bloom."Jodha is pregnant" she says.

Jodha,Jalal and Ruqaiya all 3 are shocked for 3 different reasons.

Jodha is doubting Jalal and his 'doings' that night in the tent.Had he broken his promise and then lied to her about it?

Jalal is doubting Jodha on terms of infidelity.He had not maintained physical relationshoip with her,then how could she be pregnant?whose child was it?

Rukaiya was angry at Jalal.Why had he lied to her about that night he spent with Jodha?

All the other people were very happy with the news,except these 3.Jalal masked his anger with smiles as everyone wished him and her.

After sometime,Jodha is vomiting in her chamber and Moti tends to her.She is upset over the entire issue.

Meanwhile,Jalal too is getting worked up over the issue for a different reason.

Cut to,Adham is annoyed.Jalal's offspring seems possible yet again.He goes on and on with his usual nagging.Maham shuts him up by saying,one can become the emperor only if he has royal blood.Jalal does,Adham does not.SImple as that.The only other way is by plotting against the emperor and since Adham was good for nothing,he should let his mother do it.

Meanwhile,as Jalal's mind becomes messier and messier,Rukaiya does her bit. She tells how she doesn't mind,him sleeping with other women,but she DOES mind when he hides something from her.

Jalal's mind reaches it extreme and he explodes.Breaks a few things in anger.

precap: Jalal tells Jodha that he didn't break her promise.So,it was very much possible that she had an extra marital affair.Jodha replies by saying that is not true.Jalal cuts in between saying,she is pregnant and THAT is the truth.
