Love-hate relationships with cousins

Do you think it is ok to hate your cousins or should you love them as much as say, your brothers and sisters.

I know a lot of people who hate their cousins but I love all my cousins no matter how annoying they can be?

Does anyone in this forum hate their cousins and why? What are your views towards love-hate relationships between cousins?

Personally i get along well with all my cousins but i have seen a lot of cousin rivalaries in my husbands family. its basically due to the elders.

We asians have so many cousins that its hard to remember their name,let alone hating or loving them.
I get along with most of my cousins but there are few who i wish i wasnt releated to.
Personally i think jelousy is the main factor that affects cousin relationship.

I like most of my cousins and get along with them.

And there is one i can barely tolerate !! Its got nothing to do with parents relationship or anything. Its that i find this cousin a total jerk and can't get along with him.

So i think this is the reason why some people hate their cousin. Its not always rivalry, jealousy or parents relationship.

No matter how annoying dey r but dey r realted 2 me.

I can get angry sumtyms but cant hate dem no matter wat happens.

I get along with all of cousins except my one uncle's family. It's hard to get along when the other person is always charged up...

i like most of my cousins
but there is ne cousin of mine who always lies and is annoying but i still deal with her becaue i see her everyday and she lives on the same street as me.
i think it matters how much you see your cousin
the more you see your cousin the more you dislike your your cousin
if you dont see your cousin much then you will like that cousin
for example my cousins that live in India i love them to death but the one that lives next door to me i still like but not as much and since shes the same age as me we get into a new fight every other day and my parents dont like her much

I absolutely love my cousins and treat them like brothers and sisters. We're all about the same age and we love fighting and teasing each other. The thing is, from childhood we've all been together. We used to go to school together, play together, eat together. Our parents made sure to instill in us that we were brothers and sisters and we've thought of each other that way ever since. Whenever someone asks us, how are you related, we always say "We are brothers and sisters."

I remember, when I went to tie rakhi to one of my bros, he told me, "Sands, no matter what, I got your back! 😛 " Awwwww... I gave him a big hug. How can I not love people like that? 😊

I love most of my cuzins.

But from my moms side..there are a couple that I hate..thats only because of personal family issues that existed a while back. I dont talk to them neither do I like them. Yes..they may be cuzins but when you hear such stories you forget that you have a relationship with them. I know its hard to believe but its life.

personally i get along with my cousins on my mum's side of the family n not my dad's. I dont like my dad's side of the family but i dont hate them...its too great a word...but i probably wont make the effort of going out with them or talking to them as much as my mum's side of the family..basically keep my distance from them.
