Hi Everyone!!!

Welcome to the Punar Vivaah - Ek Nayi Umeed analysis thread.

This is a daily thread that will be opened after each episode and will serve as a discussion space for those who wish to explore and discuss the show at the level of characterization, plot, and symbolism.

Please note that the main forum will continue to be a place for sharing news and views of all kinds. This thread is for people to primarily engage in the analysis of the episodes rather than just their description. In other words, we are not so concerned with what happened as much as with the how, the why and its place to the rest of the plot.

I would like to invite all PV-ENU enthusiasts to participate and share their thoughts and ideas, with an emphasis on analysis and moving beyond the i-love-this, or i-cant-stand-this type of comments.

The usual forum rules apply with respect to decency, fairness, and decorum. Please be respectful of other people and their opinions at all times as we would like a healthy environment that promotes creativity and sharing. Also, please refrain from discussing the actors' personal lives as we only want to talk about their characters in this show.

Smart move hiding all the valuables in the flower pot. I hope Raj will finally do what he is supposed to and man up, I think he's beginning to see Divya in a new light, because she's the one standing by him in these difficult times, not Sarita.

Vikrant is so in love with Sarita that he is willing to do for her what he would never have done for anyone else. The mention of her parents makes me wonder if she's missing them - perhaps we'll see him try to mend fences with them on her behalf. That should be an interesting track.

Now that Vikrant wants to express his love, I get the feeling he's going to be in for a major shock because he will find out about the elopement plans before getting a chance to say the 3 magic words. Or is he just going to brush aside the discovery of the tourist visa documents? I hope not, because that would not be consistent with his character. Mr. Suryavanshi, the businessman, can't be so dumb. I don't think we'll have to wait for Vandana to catch Sarita and Raj red-handed, but I hope the CVs don't drag this discover bit too much. We really want to see what's happening next. I expect we'll see more of Sheila and Rohan, if today's kitchen confrontation was anything to do go by.

Thank god Sarita was saved from public humiliation.

But had Sarita been caught it would have been very interesting. What would have Raj and Divya done then? Obviously they would not have let her take the fall but how could they have saved her by not revealing their hidden agenda. Anyway all this was nicely avoided by the CVs.

I have yet to watch the episode so based on the written update it is good to know that Vikrant is on his way to confess his feelings to Sarita or rather is trying to figure out a way to say the words. And based on the precap that is going to be postponed till the whole Raj affair is settled i guess.

Not much interested in Rohan-Kajal-Sheila track.

Hopefully the near expose would have drilled some sense into the thick headed Raj. I think this was rock bottom so i can't seem him sink further. I guess Viki would go after him with a gun and Viki would not believe him even if Raj would have genuinely changed by then.

Viki might not cause any harm but he would go back into his shell and curse himself for being weak enough to fall for Sarita. More than at Raj and Sarita he is going to take out his frustration and anger on himself.

Lets see what happens next.

@bold - I actually would really like to see this happen. It is clear that Vikrant cherishes family and it definitely means something more to him and is definitely not something that he would take for granted especially since he grew up in an orphanage.
