Mahadev's original Parvati refuses female lead in Buddha twice!

Sonarika Bhadoria, who earlier played Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and was recently replaced, was approached to play the lead role ofYashodhara in the TV show Buddha, but she refused.

She says, "I was approached twice by them to play the lead role, but unfortunately, I had to turn it down. I do not want to get slotted in similar roles. After playing Parvati I am offered similar roles but I am focusing on a career in films. If that ambition does not work out, I will think of doing television."

Not that movies are better than TV, but she does overestimate her potential.

Agreed.1St for money & movies,she quote Great show Mahadev...Who gave her life & all highness in life.

Now also she is rejecting offers of TV for her big Bollywood dreams.

But she is not getting mature movies only Adult listed movies.

she is right coz no one wants to get typecast otherwise people will say that she is only good in mythological shows. i am happy that she refused😃as she said that she is getting offers to play similar roles but she is looking for variations and its good😊she is only 20. she has a long way to go. 👏

i think you forgot to read these lines. there is nothing wrong in being ambitious and she said she will think of doing television

I don't like this decision of her.

Mahadev gave Sonarika enough name and fame. The proof is in the fanbase.
Mahadev has nothing more to offer her than it already has.
Mahadev is not getting bigger because she quit because the show is already at the end of it's popularity.
Off all the actresses in Mahadev Sonarika is the most popular and will remain so no matter who comes and goes after her because the show saw max popularity and TRP during her time.
She is young and ambitious and is right to wait for good opportunities to come her way.
Way to go Sonarika it is a good decision. 👏👏

she didn't quit if you remember she gave an interview a day before her replacement that she is the only parvati.she was abruptly replaced.if she wanted to quit then she would have never given this interview in HT.

I told but Producer told that she asked for salary hike & she asked so big amount which was out of budget of production.

And Also we hear about her over tanturms ...even media report the video after leaving her that all related to show are very happy.

Why would production leave someone?? There must be big reason behind it.

And we still love Mahadev & Puja is doing great as Parvati.

TRP is also raised now a days & above 2.0 Also No. 01 show of Life OK.

I must stop discussion now as this is not DKDM forum.

Jyoti leave it just shows that even months later people have still not gotten over her. Sonarika rocks and will do so in the future.
But I would have loved to see her as Yashodhara..I love Buddha😊
