the two most popular post 2000. successful item numbers, khan blockbusters, both worked with all 3 khans, famous offscreen pairing (saifeena // rankat), maximum number of endorsements compared to others. its safe to put them together as contenders for the iconic poll.

this is not for acting so please dont start with the acting raag nor is it related to who signed what film this year or next year but who do you consider to be more iconic.

Katrina still doesn't have a single iconic character or film like Kareena.

JWM and Geet are iconic. Katrina is ahead of her only in terms of item numbers, box office record and and magazine polls which I dont consider iconic.

Kareena has the acting awards and Filmares plus a wax statue in Madame Tussauds.

Kat is more popular currently but Kareena is more of the iconic one out of the two.

5 or 10 years later if we look behind the actual work they've left behind as heroines.. Kareena will have more to boast.

Kareena is a universal icon(males, females, uncles, aunties, dada daadis...u get the drift😆), Katrina is mostly iconic to males & is akin to a pinup girl! So Kareena for me!

TBH: Kareena. She's done a variety of roles in glam and de-glam avatars. She's been influential and on power lists even during her flop phase and she married well. And there's always hype around her. Also, I like to add that when you think of Kareena you can remember the name of her characters so easily like Poo (still iconic) or Geet. With Katrina it's hard to pick that one role that defined her as an actress...I say she came close with Zoya.

Katrina will probably always have the bigger BO record from the actresses but she needs to do more acting-oriented, de-glam roles too.

as cousin and husband as hero son of yesteryears heroine star

sharmila and indias cricket god pataudi

without mindless publicity

on her own steam

and most important katrina gives peanuts about 'icon'

ICONIC...seriously??? None of these two...

The iconic actresses are Madhuri...Sridevi...Hema Malini...from the last 2-3 decades...why because these actresses...ruled BW continuously for a number of years with no one coming close...they were considered as powerful as their male leads...they have consistency during their reign...

Not today's actresses...here today and gone tomm...none of the actresses after 2000 can be considered iconic...

Ya but if you want to know whose career graph is better sans acting...It has to be Katrina...who is any day...more popular, more starpower and more screen presence than Kareena...

What does Madz or sri's reign have anything to do with being a icon? An icon is someone people look up to & Kareena is a icon to a lot of ppl...it could be her dressing, her character as Geet! Just like Hema was the dream girl, Madz the dancing sensation, Kareena & Katrina have their own influences culturally in Bollywood! For me Katrina is the ultimate pinup girl & will be remembered as such! As you can see nostalgia makes these actresses larger than they are & 10 yrs from now ppl will remember these gals as something that can never be replicated!!
