later in the morning

everyone was busy in preoparation of engagement, chaos, shouting, laughter, dance and song, everything was in the air. the ETF team minus sameer was helping others in work. the day passed in work, and next day was engagment.

it was engagement night. rathore mansion was filled with lights, people and happiness. the guys came down in hall dressed with best attire, and the girls were also looking stunning. sameer and aisha were busy admiring each other.

arjun's eyes were searching riya only. she was not still out from her room. someone suddenly ordered to look out for lightman's works, and arjun took the excuse to go look for her.

riya come out of her room, caring her dupatta around her hand elegantly. she was looking gorgeous in light pink dress. arjun's eyes widen in surprise and he stared at her.

she was adjusting the heavy earing in her ear, and passed beside arjun, didnt look at him. he turned to see her going away, and was so lost that he didnt even call out. suddenly he heard a click, and saw she left her payal behind.

''riya.'' he called out. she turned to him, still holding the hand near her ear.

she was awestruck to see him dressed in sherwani. she continued to look at him, as he came near her. he picked the payal and showed to her. her eyes widen in surprise, and looked at her feet automatically. she didnt notice when her payal fell down.

he bend down near her, and she was shocked out of wits. she looked as he looked at her feet, clearly he was about to make her wear the payal.

''jee rehne dijiye, main kar loongi.'' she said hurriedly, feeling embarrassed. he looked at her again, eyes buring with sincerity. he moved his hand toward her feet, and she felt goosbumps in her body.

he slowly made her wear the payal, and she felt ticklish cum a new sensation in her whole body. he got up from his sitting position, and stared at her again.

''riya...'' someone called her from somewhere, and riya automatically answered a small, ''jee", not breaking the eye contact. she moved behind slowly, and turned at once. holding her lehenga in hand, she ascended through the stairs.

he looked at her retreating back and then break the eye contact. he smiled to himself, still cherishing the moment.

next morning...in the gym of rathore mansion.

arjun's eyes were continuing searching her through the glass wall from where the hall of rathore mansion can be seen...he dont know why, but not seeing her for a second make him anxious. he was restless all along.

sam noticed this and asked him, ''kisse dhoond raha hain?''

he answered without thinking much, ''teri behen ko.''

''KYA???'' he glared. arjun jumped and about to defend himself.

''mera matlab teri behen, teri maa...tere pure khandan ko.''

''beta jhoot mat bol, tera dost hoon main pichle 8 saal se. sab samajhta hoon...meri behen pe line maar raha hain?'' sam teased him, voice little possessive and serious. arjun smiled sheepishly.

''bachpan se hi bohot laad pyar se pala hain humne usse...sale agar thodi si bhi takleef di na usse, to goli maar doonga.'' sam was serious.

''arre pehle ye to dekhoon teri behen mujhe pasand karti hain ya nhi.'' arjun asked surprise. sam shook his head.

''tu duffer hi rahega na...jis din usne tujhe pehli baar dekha tha, tabhi main samjah gaya tha pasand karti hain tujhe,''

arjun didnt believe him, ''sirf 4 din huye hain humein aye huye...its so soon.''

sam- mujhe kya, tum logon ki story hain, sambhalo.

with that sam walked away from gym, and arjun smiled in disbelieve.

Riya and girls went for shopping that day. it was near the end of day, and they had lots of shopping bags with them; they were in a cafe for snacks, now they will head for home.

''mujhe book store jana tha.'' said riya to herself. aisha heard her.

''abhi?''

''jee...bohot important book hain.'' riya said worriedly. aisha looked at other girls, and then whispered to her, ''ek kaam karo, jaldi se jao aur wapas aao. hum yahin hain.''

riya smiled in thanking her and got up from her chair.

some 20 mins later...

riya was coming back to the cafe, and walking hurriedly. there were some weird looking guys looked at her, and said something in wicked way. she gulped in fear and run hurriedly.

the guy started to chase her and she literally ran. the guys were about to catch her, and she stumbled on some stone on road. she was about to fell when...

2 strong hands caught her waist, and she hold into those in support. she steadied herself, and saw its a guy, looking very rough and tough, and glaing at those guys. the guys backed out and mumbled sorry.

riya looked at the guy with thanking way, and he smiled back at her. both of them walked toward cafe, and she was so shaken at the event that she didnt even thanked him.

they were near cafe, and saw sameer and the other ETF guys were there, including. riya ran in the arm of sameer,and all were shocked.

''kya huya?'' sameer asked in concern, and riya narrated the whole event. all gave thankful look to the guy, and he nodded in acknowledgement.

''bohot sukriya apka, meri behen ki madad karne ka.'' sameer went ahead and shook hand with him.

''jee ye to mera farz tha.'' the guy said, and smiled encouragingly at her. arjun felt little stab in heart, dont know why...

the guys talked, and it turned out he is vikram, was here for photography course. he was searching for a hotel to stay the night. sameer and others offered him to stay with them in rathore mansion, as his work place was near rathore mansion. the guy said several times no, but at last he give in.

arjun sat in the driving seat, and adjusted the mirror. riya's face was visible in that, and riya felt his gaze on her. she looked to him through mirror, and arjun nodded slightly. his eyes fell on the new guy who was sitting in the last seat of SUV, and he frowned. something was not right...but what?
