Surya's  family congratulates Surya for winning the cooking competition in Delhi. Vikram, Meenakshi, Mohan and Savitha fight over who will go to Singapore with Surya for the final round of World's Top Cook. Surya asks Saroja, Surya's father and Sandhya to accompany him to Singapore for the competition. Sandhya takes Surya, Surya's Father and Saroja to the passport office to apply for their passport and VISA. She teaches Surya to converse in english for the competition.

Sandhya teaches Surya to converse in English. Surya, Saroja and Surya's father receive their passports. Meenakshi envies Sandhya for getting the chance to go to Singapore with Surya. She hides Sandhya's passport in an old book and sells it to a recycle vendor. Surya employs Rajkumar in his sweet shop. Saroja invites her friends to a feast at home and boasts to them about Surya's win. A Neighbour Lady( Periya Akka)  is astonished to learn that Saroja is going to Singapore with Surya.

 Surya astonishes everyone by speaking in english. Periya Akka finds out about Meenakshi's pregnancy and criticizes Saroja for planning to go to Singapore with Surya. Saroja decides not to go but Meenakshi persuades her to go to get on her good side. Sandhya gifts a watch to Surya. Mohan and Savitha write down a list of the things that they want from Singapore and give it to Surya. Sarojainstructs Vikram and Shavitha  to take care of Meenakshi. Sandhya finds out that her passport is missing.

 Sandhya finds out that Saroja's passport is missing. Surya refuses to go to Singapore without Saroja but she convinces him to go. Periya Akka and the other neighbours give a grand send off to Surya and wish him luck for the competition. Meenakshi realizes that she had mistakenly given away Saroja's passport to the recycle vendor instead of Sandhya's passport. She manages to retrieve Saroja's passport from the vendor. Saroja and Surya's Father board the flight to Singapore with Surya and Sandhya.

Surya's father panics during the take off. An air hostess gives him oxygen mask to calm him down. A TV is delivered to the Surya's house. Meenakshi and Shavitha  speculate on who had sent it. Rajkumar tells them that his friend had given it to him for safekeeping. They convince him to fix the TV in the house. Meenakshi fights with Kasthurii for giving puja plate to Rajkumar. She pretends to be sick to make Shavitha do the kitchen chores. A foreigner accuses Saroja of dirtying the restroom at the airport.

Sandhya rebukes a foreigner at the airport restroom for insulting Saroja. Surya and his family are put up in a luxurious hotel in Singapore for the cooking competition. Surya's father and Saroja marvel at the luxury in their hotel suite. Meenakshi comes up with a plan to increase the sales in Vikram's saree shop. Surya is asked to prepare a dish at the orientation of World's Top Cook. He finds it difficult to operate an induction stove. The Surya's  family members watch the show on TV.

Surya presents burnt jalebis to the judge at the orientation. Mohan and Shavitha are embarrassed by it. The foreigner who had humiliated Saroja at the airport competes with Surya in World's Top Cook. She introduces her Indian husband to Surya and his family. Surya is surprised to learn that her husband is the man who had helped him register in the cooking competition. Meenakshi gets Vikram's permission to manage Surya's shop. Saroja gets scared when a stranger compliments her jewellery.

 Sandhya motivates Surya to do well in the competition. Meenakshi increases the sales in Vikram's saree shop by giving away free sweets from Surya's sweet shop to the customers. She convinces Vikram to go along with the scheme. Sandhya becomes Surya's translator and explains the various tasks and rules of the competition to him. Surya anxiously awaits the result of the first task.
