I don't think I've seen a comparison topic on this even though I think it's a valid one.

They both played a character named Naina which needless to say.. were very similar. Also, both these performances played a vital role in each of their careers. So, which performance do you think was better and why?

Where's the both option? I liked them both equally but since I'm a deranged DP phankhi I'll go with her.

I didn't want to put that because I knew a lot would've gone for that option.

yes but also because honestly I do not remember much of KHNH and I just watched YJHD yesterday so that's stuck in my mind 😆

Honestly speaking..Deepika's performance as Naina Talwar is overrated. I still don't get the hype around it except it was one of Deepika's better performances.

For starters, Naina Talwar was a poorly written character. I couldn't even understand her transition/character graph..it was too far fetched and went over my head. I'm not a Preity Zinta fan nor a Deepika fan for that matter..but, Preity Zinta made the perfect Naina. She walked and talked her character very well. Not to mention, her wardrobe was way better (not that that matters, but still).
