Written Update 9th september 2013 Jodha Akbar

Rukaiya is pampering herself with some soulful music and hukka.Jalal arrives soon.Rukaiya tells him that she is very pleased by the fact that Jalal is going on a battle.Jalal is surprised and asks for the reason behind it.She says that he was indirectly going to cause pain to the people who matter to Jodha,that is why.

Jalal is snorts and says that she need not worry about that.He had a full-fledged plan to treat them the way they should.He then leaves.

Jalal is now out,talking to his ministers about the war tactics.He tells them that they would attack Sujanpur first,followed by Parolgaon.

Jodha arrives as the ministers leave. Jalal greets her with a broad smile.He tells her that he had good news.She retorts saying,she highly doubts that.He could never bring her any sort of good news.

He tells her that he would be lending freedom to her brothers for a few days.She senses some hidden agenda of his behind this. Jalal is impressed by her cleverness.He tells her,that Khan baaba always said,it was better to have a clever enemy,rather than a stupid friend.

Jalal tells her that they would be attacking Sujanpur,the kingdom to which Sukanya's fiance' belonged to.Jodha fires a few punch lines,before Jalal cut her in.He tells her,he wasn't done yet.Ther was more 'good news'.He wanted Bhagwaan Das himself,to put an end to Ratan Singh,Sukanya's fiance'.

He mocks her,stating she must be disgusted with him now,not just hate.Jodha is annoyed and she leaves.

Cut to,Jalal is getting ready for war.Before he leaves,he goes to see his mother,who was ill at the moment .Hamida gives him her regards,but she also  places a wish.She wanted Jodha to do his tilak ritual before leaving.

Jalal is amused by the thought.He orders Jodha to be brought for the same.

Meanwhile,Bhaarmal tells his sons that no matter what,Jalal was his son-in law.It was their duty to support him.The sons agree.

The army is all set for departure.Jodha arrives and shares a word or two with her father.She asks him,how could he let his bhaisaas' to fight against their own future brother-in law.Bhaarmal says,in order to stabilise the future-in-laws,he couldn't ruin the relationship with his present in-laws.

Jalal lets her know about his desire of the Tilak.A pandit comes forward with the arti thaali.Jodha does the needed.Jalal is very pleased.Jodha goes ahead and does the same for her brothers and re-positions herself,opposite Jalal.

In the background,Maham is speculating as to what is going on in Jalal's mind.She comes to a conclusion that even the Lord wouldn't know whaat his thoughts interpreted.

Also,Rukaiya is amused by the irony of the situation.A hindu queen wishing good-luck,for the defeat of another Hindu.

Jalal indirectly tells her to wish him goodluck.Jodha says she prays to the Almighty that her husband and his army,triumph.

Cut to,Rukaiya is told that there was some clue leading to the 'murderer'.A man comes to talk to her.He was a sculptor who specialised in sculpting certain boxes,which were used for liquids like perfumes,alcohols or poison.

He had come to deliver it to someoen in the palace a few days ago,unaware of its future use.Soon,he had heard the news about Rukaiya's miscarriage and it had got him wondering.Rukaiya asks who had placed the order for the box.

precap : The mughal army has put up tents,Jalal orders a few soldiers to guard the Rajputs' tent.To keep track of every movement of theirs.
