Back in April RK shared his screenplay Hum Hai Deewane with the audience. RK was the Hero, Madhu was the Heroine and of course Sultan was the Villain.
Honestly, when I was watching that scene, I did not believe a word of it! Who knew the Gangster with a good heart was going to turn into such a vile person? OK, obviously RK knew but who could trust his twisted and warped mind??? OK, I will never doubt you again RK (yeah right!)
But getting back to my post.
RKs version was a bit off as he had actually accused Madhu of having feelings for Sultan (which she does not) and in his version the three characters come to a showdown. In the showdown, the Villain shoots the Hero and now what does the Heroine do, RK asked.
Later Madhu gives her version that she would shoot the Villain and then turn the gun on herself as she would not want to live without her Hero.
Madhus version, I can completely believe given the last few episodes. She would do anything for RK including picking up a gun and shooting " something she could not do for Sultan. But then love makes a person do the unthinkable. And there is no question, in my mind, of how much she loves her pati!
So now we are coming to the real showdown. Will it be RKs version? Or will Madhu be placed in the unenviable position of having to take a life to save a life?
Whos version are we going to see?
