Lovely post, Kaussar.😊 Enjoyed your review and analysis. The teacher scene reminded me a teensy bit of the island scene in An Affair to Remember. I wonder where the CVs are going with it.
Waiting for the confrontation betn the Khan parivars. Already feel sorry for the sisters, but not for Imran, as I expect Imran won't get either girl just yet. It'll be good to see him sweat a bit.

Zoya's reactions are not in line with the emotional depth of the scene...she is still giggling😆...Zoya has still not understood how lucky she is to have found such a man...it's still the glory of first love for her, the happiness of belonging somewhere...for Asad, Zoya is his love, his life...nothing more, nothing less...for Zoya, Asad is still not just the love...before that he is a protector and someone she wants to belong with...her need for belonging trumps her love, in terms of priority..notice how she leaves no opportunity of staking a claim on Asad...she loves him, but not as much as he loves her...yet...they are readying the audience for a possible separation...Asad's passion and love for her is not returned in the same magnitude...

you are right.. Zoyas emotions regarding Asad was not deep and perhaps thats whats missing.. yea if only she was given a few dialogues like how much Asad has changed now and how she appreciates him it would have highlighted the scene more and would have given a much more emotional depth to the scene.. yea recent Asya scenes definitely gives the impression that Asad loves Zo more than she loves him.. she acts as if its a novelty to her and is in awe... but her feelings doesnt come across as deep as Asad.. wonder if its because her feelings are really less as u said or because its due to Cvs always trying to portray her comic and cute side which people loves. 😕

Now it's not her comic side...they are setting it up for a separation...there might come a time when she may hurt Asad so bad that it will be irreparable...and that is when she will realize in the true sense as to what he means to her...these days Zoya leaves a lot to be desired in all AsYa scenes...if u have noticed..the CVs are deliberately doing this

Good and informative article.
Now it is time to Ayan prove his love for Humeira, and must first be serious
Zoya pulls out all the unpleasant experiences of Asad life and turns them into positive, of solid Asada turns it into a laid back.
Hmm Haseen spilled her poison ... I think that, in the end it will be poisoned herself from him.😈

Tomorrow's episode is going to be epic...can't wait for it...😊

Thanks Anu.. yea perhaps thats what the Cv s wanted.. but i feel equal amounts of humour and emotion would have made it much better. it was still a gud scene and i wont say i didnt enjoy it.. i did..but wished it was better.. im also eagerly waiting for tom although idont want to see the hurt on Nikhat's face. 😊

Great analysis!

I think you're right about AsYa's scene although I actually liked it.

IMO, what is missing in that scene is Zoya's empathy for Asad and her understanding of his childhood troubles.

When the teacher mentioned that Asad dressed as a school boy for a fancy dress, even his expressions suggested the reason. The comic element of this scene ended for me there.

I started to dislike the teacher for mocking him like that and judging him for his actions. Asad's behavior was more a result of the circumstances he was in rather than his inherent nature.

Asad didn't wear a fancy dress because his mother couldn't afford one. He was being akdu because of what he was going through. He didn't have any friends, he was that socially awkward. He had a frog for a pet because of his obsessive compulsive disorder.

No child would be like that unless there's a problem.

We could see that and even Asad's expressions showed that. Zoya however, displayed no empathy or understanding of Little Asad's behavior. Her expressions portray just that she found it weird. And then, she smiled.

It was reestablished that Zoya is yet to mature as a person which is exactly why Ghafoor and Zainab's revelation is important.

I think that their conversation after this scene (if they have any) can make up for what we found missing.

P.S. I can now understand why Asad had that blind faith in Tanveer.

Great post

The teacher is strict person, her name is Ms. Rodriguez and she is a Catholic. Even when she wakes up carefully watching (not only because of poor vision) and frowns it. The prototype of the old-time lecturers. Hence the lack of emotion in the beginning.
As for the latter part of the conversation, maybe missing Zoya's support like "he is change", a little long look, but as the starsinmyeyes said, Zoya still do not realize how is happy. She loves him, respected, have a family what she wanted, but just because she always want to forget the bad, is not aware that Asad not only her protector, but the best thing that happened to her in life. Only one is talking about the deeper reasons why love him, and that's when she found out that Tanveer pregnant and while she thought it was Assad father.
And do not forget Assad teased her. Just back him :))) And forced Assad to remember their "trauma" :))
Personally I liked the scene, but of course I respect your attitude on that is incomplete.

I am good. How have you been? Its okay. Maybe you had different expectations from the scene. It happens.😊

Yeah! I am looking forward to AyRa but lets see how they manage it with the brothers clash. I think more focus is going to be on that.

PS: If you get time, have a look at Vicky's post. She has explained that scene very well. Maybe it'll give you a new perspective.

Im also gud. have been too busy as usual hehe.. yea brothers clash and family clash will be more in focus but i think side by side they will show other things also.. Saw Vicky s post.. agree with her.. i also got somewhat a similar conclusion when i analyzed the scene in my mind after epi ended.. understood what Cvs were trying to portray.. but the thing is when we see the epi first time some scenes really touch us to the extent that we feel really engrossed in it and feel as if we are also a part of it and get connected to it that moment itself.. we need not analyze the scene later to get the connection and meaning.. that touch was missing today.. hope u understood what im trying to say. 😊
