Now days are passing by and Arjun has decided to ignore Riya so that he does not end up getting a soft side towards her.Chhotu and Riya have acquired a great friendship bond, while Riya has become an integral part of Rathod and family. Arjun does not know about Pihu's 'puchci' and is also unaware of the brother-sister bonding between Rathod and Riya. Shree and Riya have acquired a special bond, much more than friendship, which Arjun misunderstands as 'love' but none of it is reality.
Case:1: ETF at Kalki Desai's daughter's engagement ceremony.
Arjun has refused to come to the event for investigation. Rathod and Chhotu have dropped Riya and Shree for investigation while they would join in a little later. All are dressed up according to the protocol.
Riya is looking damn beautiful and each and every member in the hall is trying to just get a glimpse of her and her beautiful dimples. Shree, being someone special to Riya, is busy protecting her from unpleasant continuous gazes, while Riya cares a damn and hardly make her eyes meet someone else's. She is simply busy with Shree. To disturb the two in their all interesting one-sided talks (it is Riya who is speaking, Shree is just listening😃) beeps Shree's phone. It is Rathod
"Tum dono zara kaam karo. Mujhe pata hai ki tum dono ne abhi tak apni investigations shuru bhi nahi kari hogi. I 'll be there in 25 minutes, tab mujhe saari details chahiye. Got that?"
And he cuts the call.
Riya: Kya hua mere jhalle?tere mooh par terah(13) kyun baj gaye?
Shree: Tera????sab k mooh par 12 bajte hain aur mere mooh par tera? Oh!. Teri ghadi to vaise bhi kharab hai.
Riya: Meri ghadi perfect hai mister. Aaj tak kabhi office late pahunchi hoon kya??????.Hamesha time par...😛

Riya: Reporting time 8:00 hai. theek hai?😉

They both laughed and went off to complete their task. Suddenly Riya unknowingly hit onto someone. Riya lifted up her gaze to see who it was. He was a young man in her early twenties and he looked at Riya with unblinking eyes, holding her hand. Riya was smart and experienced enough to deal with these one-sided AASHIQS. So she boldly said,
Riya: Bhai sahab, aap mera haath chhodenge please.(and smiled)
Boy: Haan...(appearing lost and then he left her hand...) sure.
Before Riya could run away, he said,
"Hi I am Sushant. Preeti ka kuwara cousin"
Riya smiled formally and ran off. Riya soon got busy in her investigation and forgot all about her encounter with the stranger. But Sushant had fallen for the dimpled doll.
Shree and Riya met, to inform each other about their findings. Riya also told him about Sushant. Shree: Kya baat Riya. Tumhara AASHIQ
Riya: Shut up Shree. Uski shakl dekhi hai.
Arjun, after resolving the conflict of his heart and mind, reached the hall. Before anyone could notice him, the music began. All gathered in the hall and Arjun stood amongst the crowd. Sushant took the center stage and began singing, looking at Riya, who stood nearby with Shree.
SUSHANT: O what a look, what a grace
Tenu hi karaan main chase ( he followed Riya)

Dil tera ho gaya fan (He dragged Riya to the center of the hall)

Riya too jumped into the battlefield dancing as she was too irritated with this lover of her.

People clapped and hooted. At the side stood Shree and among the crowd an angry Arjun.
SUSHANT: O kasme waade khake

Shree laughed and went off. Jealous stood Sushant and the hidden hot cop, Arjun.

Riya had won over Sushant as she danced better and people were praising and admiring her.
All then walked off to the dining hall. Much to their surprise, a lady and Sushant walked on to Riya and Shree. The lady was Sushant's mother.

Riya was on the second floor when someone pulled Riya towards himself in the room and locked behind the door. Riya was surprised to see Sushant doing so...
Sushant: Main jaanta hoon ki tumhari shhadi ho chuki hai, maine tumhe mauka bhi diya mere paas aane ka par tum nahi maani. Tum meri nahi ho saki to kisi aur ki bhi nahi ho paaogi.
And he walked towards Riya with an evil grin. Riya was scared to half death as he walked towards her and she shouted on top of her voice. Sushant caught hold of her dupatta when someone pulled Riya towards him.
Yes it was Arjun. Arjun hit Sushant too hard and he fell lifeless on the floor.
On the other hand ,Riya was weeping, too scared of what had just happened.
Arjun: Riya, Riya...
He shook Riya to bring back her to senses. As soon as Riya got back to her senses ,she cried out aloud and hugged Arjun tightly. Arjun's heart began melting at her sight ,but this time he did not allowed it to happen. He separated Riya from him and said in a stern voice,
Arjun: Ab rone ka kya fayda, tab to kuch nahi hua jab tum uske saath dance kar rahi thi.
Arjun was not aware of the reality that it was Sushant who had approached to Riya and not vice-versa.
He continued," Tum ladkiyan aisi hi hoti ho. You are never trustworthy. I never thought that u were so characterless.
This was too much for Riya to bear. She wiped her tears, got up and went off.
Arjun cursed himself for hurting Riya. But he had to do that for his sake so that he does not betray Roshni.
