My written take on Arshi's Almost Suhaag Raat!!!

Khushi opens the bathroom door, sees Arnav facing the other direction. She comes out and closes the door. She moves to the side of the cupboard hiding herself. She peeks at Arnav, he was sitting on the recliner with his back facing her. Arnav hears some rattling and turns around to see Khushi in the pink and red lengha choli, her hands covering herself as her chest heaved.

Khushi peeks at Arnav again; only this time Arnav was staring right back at her. She quickly looked down and moved back. Arnav stood up and looked at her, she tried to not meet his gaze and ended up noticing the decorated bed; flowers were draped from the ceiling going down to the side of the bed, a heart was made of rose petals in the centre of the bed. Arnav's eyes followed Khushi's to the bed that she was staring at.

He looked away from the bed and asked her what she was doing there and to come to him. She clutches her clothes with her hands and says that she doesn't have a dupatta. She hides herself by the cupboard questioning what kind of lengha choli that was and if they didn't give him a dupatta with it.

Arnav smiled and extended his hand revealing the pink and red dupatta for the lengha choli she was wearing. Khushi looked at it and Arnav asked her if she would come to him or if he should come to her. She remained standing near the cupboard, so instead Arnav starting moving towards her.

The moment the music starts and her hair blows a little… Arnav starts walking towards a nervous Khushi, he reaches her and looks on at her with the line "Tumhi Dekho Na" playing in the background.

He then touches her shoulder making her turn to him. She looks up meeting his gaze and the line "Tumhi Dekho Na" plays in the background. He reaches for her hand and walks forward with her, with his eyes fixed on her. They walk forward a bit and she slowly pulls her hand away from his, using her hand to cover her stomach, while the other hand clutches her heart… trying to stop it from racing… "dhak dhak" Arnav holds the dupatta up and places it on her head.

He moves in front of her, turning her towards him, he trails his hand along her face, moving her hair. He touches her shoulder and she looks up at him. He looks at her and pulls her in for a hug. Her hands slowly move up his back, responding to the hug.

They pull away from each other, she looks away from his gaze. He looks at her and then swoops her into his arms.

They look at each other while he takes them to the bed. He gently places her in the middle of the bed. While he advances towards her, her chest starts to heave. As he moves closer to kiss her lips, she moves her head away from him.

Right at that moment, her eyes catch the Radha Krishna idol at the side of the bed. Arnav continues to move closer to her, as Khushi remembers the words of Payal, "Bina phere kiye, koi shaadi puri kaise ho sakti" and the words of Nani, "Ye saath phere, shaadi ki bandhan ka neem howat hai."

Just as Arnav's lips were about to touch her neck, Khushi said "nahin Arnavji." Arnav pulled away from her and asked with concern "Kya hua Khushi? Are you okay?"…

(and you all know what happened after that) :P (and that was the almost suhaag raat)
