Gurmeet approached for Gunahon ka Devta sequel
Neha Maheshwri, TNN | Sep 19, 2013, 11.48 AM ISTAfter Lapataganj --- Ek Baar Phir, producer Ashwini Dheer is busy working on another show, sequel to Imagine TV's Gunahon Ka Devta.
Based on Gunahon Ka Devta, a novel by Dharanvir Bharati, the show originally produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms, aired on Imagine TV in 2010. It featured Ashish Sharma and Tanvi Bhatiain lead roles.
And the makers have apparently approached Gurmeet Choudhary to play the lead in the revised version, which will launch on Life OK. We are certain that this piece of news will certainly bring excitement to all those fans, who have been waiting with bated breathe for their favourite actor Gurmeet to return to the tube, after Punarvivaah Season one ended.
However, we have been told that the deal is stuck on monetary issues. According to the source, "The producer is keen on casting Gurmeet but he has quoted an exorbitant amount. The money he has asked is excessive and unreasonable. One is hoping for the deal to materialise soon." When contacted, Gurmeet said, "It's not true."
One the other hand, our source insists, he has been approached and talks are on.@Red what is this
