Katrina Kaif will never wear a bikini onscreen – why?

The Dhoom:3 babe has made it clear that she won't go bare in swimwear on or off the screen after her bikini pictures were recently splashed all over the media. But is it really 'coz of an intrusive press? Wethinks not!

We give you three reasons why we think Katrina Kaif has decided to ditch the bikini. As soon as Kat and Ranbir Kapoor's pictures from their Spain holiday were leaked, there were reports about Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh being miffed with the whole thing. Rockstar Ranbir's parents were furious with the sudden surge of images of their son getting cozy with Ms Kaif, and the media hype that followed. Despite being fond of Kat, we hear Ranboo's mother was pretty upset with the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor. Now while we heard that Kat was happy to make her pyaar ka relationship official, she is upset at having offended her beau's mommy dearest. Wethinks Kat doesn't want to jeopardise her relationship with Ranbir, more so her bond with his parents. Remember how the rumour mills were a-buzzing about Neetu being the reason for Ranbir and Deepika Padukone's break-up few years ago?

And it's not just on the personal front, but Ranbir's professional life too that has come under the media scanner now. Abhinav Singh Kashyap, director of Ranbir's new film Besharam, had to bear the brunt of the gupshup. At the launch of the Besharam trailer, the director was asked if leaking the Katrina-Ranbir holiday pictures was a marketing gimmick to promote his film. Ouch! That must have hurt Mr Kashyap, who coolly denied it, but was left rather red faced!

Also, one can't forget how Ms Kaif flinches whenever you mention her debut dud Boom. Every time Katrina's bikini avatar is mentioned, her dreaded Boom days come back to haunt her – remember how this B-town babe went all bold and wild in that one, in the company of a certain Bad Man called Gulshan Grover? Now that's something she doesn't want to associate herself with any more, no? And a bikini-clad Ms K takes us right back to that one….

Now with a bod like her it's a pity that Kat's decided to never sport a bikini, it would be best if this leggy lass concentrated more on Dhoom than revisit her Boom days. What say?
