Shorter seasons better for D3 and other shows?

These massive, monolithic 400+ episode runs are not doing this show any good. I wouldn't be surprised if actors are feeling fatigued and suffocated, so they move on elsewhere. Of course, these shows run five days a week, but they run throughout the year, which may strain the actors a lot. Not surprisingly, those in search of other or more work have left- first Shakti, then Sneha, and now Vrinda- and they couldn't get much out of the guest stars.

So if this show was running at 22 episodes a season, or maybe 60 (for five-day weeks) episodes, and then take a break, and then come back, would the show be better? Not only would the actors and writers get to pursue other interests and projects, they would also come back refreshed. It would also help the story stay consistent, and also the acting.

i second you on this ...i love the show and somewhere iam very attached to it ...but that i also feel that show should come in seasons... it will give us a fresh story and it will save the actors from fatigue...actors of D3 work more than any other actors in indian telivision industry because they have to shoot + they have to rehearse for the dance routines...poor them man.they dont get time and some times i really get worried for lead actors...😭😭 season wise they work for some period of time and they can rest for some time 😊😊😊 but i dunno if this concept will work with indian audiance 😊

I feel Indian audiences also need a break. Time and again, we read (and often post) complaints about how the show isn't so much fun, or the quality has dipped, and I feel if these episodes didn't happen and the show didn't air for that time, the show, the actors, the writers and also the fans, would benefit a lot. In a way, season-wise runs of this show would be better for the fans- because they would complain a lot less.

Agree with you.

Shows in seasons would be refreshing and enjoyable both for the viewers as well as the makers and actors.

Like D3 broke a mental barrier that dance shows wouldnt work in India, i hope they do another path breaking concept by introducing seasons.

I agree with you all. Not only the fatigue of actors, it becomes fatigue for writers too. In D3 I feel they keep on buying time, as they don't know what to show next and which direction to move. They have not been able to involve all the characters into the story except four leads. This is the reason I don't watch D3 regularly. So I think they should do seasons, so at least writers come up wid fresh storyline.

I am watching Rishta.com on youtube right now, and it is so refreshing to watch an Indian show with tight storyline and crisp editing. Wished D3 team learns from that.

Its a great idea as well. it would indeed bring about consistency in the tracks as well as performance. im sure even the audience would accept the concept of shorter season with time. personally even im not sure how i wld react to d3 having season breaks, but im open to the idea😊

ps: liked ur signature.. didnt expect anyone to remember tat track arnd here:)

Sorry bt I don't think it can work in India...c ppl though atttaced to serial bt as soon as aerial get closed audience tend for other serial...it has been seen when serial ends and comes with another season it doesn't work...actors also gets involved in other work...

coming to d3 for refreshing story creative can introduced new concept in same serial...there are many ongoing serial on india which are running for more than 5 years and still maintain the trip with their interesting storyline...actors comes and go bt if ur story is gud audience will tend to remain attached to serial...

so yes no short season for d3 in my view
