The lights were on and the spotlight was on the hottest and the biggest stars of the Southern cinema who walked the red carpet at the 60th Idea Filmfare Awards 2012 (South).

From music maestro AR Rahman, Ram Charan Teja, Tamannaah Bhatia to Raanjhanaa lad Dhanush, the stars graced the gala with their presence. While Dhanush was accompanied by his better-half Aishwarya, the hot and sexy Shruti Haasan set the stage on fire with her dance performance.

The power-packed dance performances by southern sirens Sunaina, Shwetha, Isha, Sharmila, Amala and Anjali kept the audience's interest kicking. Amid the presence of the Southern biggies like Khushboo and Venkatesh, the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Bapu for his contribution in Southern cinema.
